Friends, can you please clarify a doubt regarding the Mark For Review option in CAT?
As per the guidlines laid down by IIMCAT, a question for which an option is selected and then Marked For Review will be considered for evaluation. This falls under the "Marked For Review and Answered" category.
On the other hand, if no option is selected, then it falls under the category - "Marked For Review".
In VARC section, I directly saved 28 questions by clicking on save and next and for 4 questions, I selected an option and marked them for review. So, in total 32 questions should be evaluated.
After the exam was over, the invigilator was creating an unnecessary rush and was prompting to click on next. I, by mistake, clicked on next without checking the total attemps that I had made, in detail.
However, one thing I noticed at a glance is that, in the VARC section, under the "Answered" column, 28 was being displayed, and under the "Marked For Review" column, 4 was being shown. I didn't notice what the other columns displayed. However, the 4 questions that were displayed under the "Marked For Review" column should have ideally been displayed under the category - "Marked For Review and Answered", isn't it? Because "Marked For Review and Answered" and "Marked For Review" are 2 totally different categories. The former one means that the question will be evaluated, whereas the latter one means that the question will not be considered for evaluation.
Has anybody else faced a similar situation? What is your take on this? Is there any chance, that in spite of selecting an option and marking a question for review, it will still not be evaluated?

Jz used a predictor from careers 360 website.... score of 30 in LR&DI will fetch u 66-68 percentile. Seriously kidding? 🙄

WHAT PERCENTILE SHOULD I EXPECT FROM THIS SCORE?
Hi guys, Screwed up my Di/lr though Va went very well and quant was good too.
I had the slot 2 and I think I will get 14 in DI/Lr. Would I clear the 80%ile mark in this? In the time aimcats even on my worst days I never got less than 5000 rank out of say 15k serious students In DI/lr so I don't think I should fall behind behind the 36k that seriously give CAT. Whats your thoughts?
Another thing can anyone answer the Dorm question? What was the cost for Dorm 9?
I am expecting the following scores approximately (SLOT 2):
VARC 65 (60-70)
LRDI 40 (38-45)
QA 60 (57-65) (Lost more than 12 marks due to silly mistakes :/)
OA 165 (160-180)
What do you think my percentile will be?
And how will the scaling affect my scores (like will my scores increase/ decrease or stay constant)? Does anybody have any idea on how scaling is done (someone mentioned that high scores are approximately multiplied by at least 1.15)

Hey people. What do you think would be the 80%ile cutoff marks for DILR in slot 2 CAT 2017? I attempted only 9 (quite a few could be wrong!) :( Also, how rigid are IIMs with respect to the subject cutoffs?
Raw score of 90+...what will be my percentile range?
Does anybody have an idea on how scaling is done? Is it true that LRDI is gien the most importance and QA the least during scaling across sections? And also is it true that the higher scores are scaled a bit upwards (with a factor of around 1.15)?
Slot 2: Elective set Q1 which asked how many electives shows a decrease. And fingerprint ka 1st que where 2 switches were allowed. Can anyone share the answer for both these Ques???
How can anybody in the world make such direct comparison between Slot 1 and Slot 2 DILR questions by saying that there were no sitters in slot 1 and there were atleast 4 sitters in Slot 2!!!
Kisi ek bande ne dono slots ke exam to diye nahi hai jo itna "stark" comparison kar paye.
Jo bhi comparison ho raha hai, wo test takers ke feedbacks ke according ho raha hai...aur un test takers ne exam sirf apne apne slots me hi diya tha!

Hi guys, please tell me if 14 marks in DI/LR slot 2 would cross 80%ile. This is making me really anxious and I am unable to study for my college exams.
Attempted 30 in VA (60% accuracy), 12 in DILR (70% accuracy), 20 in Quant (80% accuracy) - Slot 2. How much percentile can I expect?
