In sibm pune it will take 21-22 lakh for 2 years. And iit madras only 4-5 lakh. Both have same median and average plus the batch size of iit madras is very less. What is the better option for a 2016 bba graduate with no work ex.
Can anyone please shed some light on the importance of being part of any committee or clubs in a B school (Other than Placement Committee)

Hello I have been an IIM aspirant for a long time now. I would like to understand my eligibility for getting admitted at any IIM's. Following is my Qualifications: 1. Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering I started working after my Diploma engineering and I do not have a Bachelor's degree. Alliance university offers ePGDM for working professionals without the Bachelor's degree and the certificate is UGC approved. A few clarifications about IIMU to all who are sharing/following the comparison excels on PG -
1. New Campus Update: We have completely shifted to our new campus in December 2016.
2. Competitions Won: The students of IIMU have won 12 competitions including the Berger Innovation Challenge(Top 3), Reliance brands Quiz (1st) , EY Quiz (3rd) in the year 2016-17.
3. Finalists: Our students have been finalists at more than 15 competitions, which include Vodafone Voyage and various compeitions conducted by IIM Calcutta, SPJIMR, IIT Delhi, and other esteemed B-schools.
4. Entrepreneurship at IIMU: IIMU alumni have 19 startups that are operational. These include the likes Ikerz, Bombay Shaving Company, Neu Tree ventures(Priptos), Hunnarr etc. (further info in the comments section)
Two students of 2016-18 have their medical startup - Nirogya clinic, that recently went operational in Ahmedabad.
We also have 8 startups by the current batch (2016-18) in progress.

A lot of duelling is happening over the rankings of colleges..pagalguy now feels like the Defence Against the Dark Arts class...
Puys and Pirls..I just feel we need to swat away the cobwebs of vague, abstract logic and embrace objectivity...for some IIM tag matters, for others not so much..let's be more tolerant and constructive with our opinions...Every college (even those ranked in the fifties) have brilliant students...ultimately it is YOU who will matter..pedigree will only last so long.. be it XL, SP, MDI or IIM-A..
what will always matter in the end is our committment.
