Hi. Is the PGDM (executive) IMT-G course considered equivalent to MBA by AICTE (as the 2 year PGDM is)?
in other words, Can we use this certification to apply for doctrate and in general consider it an equivalent to post grad degree.

At one side I'm reading reports of some of the top 15 colleges and new IIMs claiming best placements ever and a healthy increase in average/median CTC. On the other side there are reports that due to overall bad market condition placement figures have reduced as compared to last year.
I've seen lot of knowledgeable people on this thread. Will be great if people can share their thoughts on overall placement situation of top B schools.
I completely understand one cannot see a college wrt only placement figures. But it is definitely one of the most important criteria while zeroing on a colg. Any inputs/thoughts/learnings will be deeply appreciated.
