M3: What is differnce between premium and normal petrol ?
Me: Not a part of my course but told them something anyways.
M2: Talk about qualities of a manager?
Me: told,
M3: How many districts are in you state?
Me: Told them no. of MP seats thought it was same as districts.
M1: Population of you state?
Me: Took a very wrong guess, *laughter*
M3: Tell me what's special about your city?
Me: Told them, had some follow up questions answered them well.
M3: Read today's newspaper?
Me: Interview was early in the morning (had no idea about that day's news), so didn't get a chance, know about yesterday's news though.
M3: Told me that governor rule is implied in your state yesternight?
Me: Was shocked to know, but told them it was a wrong thing to do!
M3: Asked me why and whether I believe it or not?
Me: Hard to believe, and told them the reason.
M3: Good!
M2: Thanks a lot for your time!
Don't know about my chances though, no work ex GEM with 97.96 %ile can anyone comment on that?

Do I stand a real Chance of Converting MDI call with - 78, 82, 52 in X, XII, B.tech, 20 months of work-ex and 97.4%ile in CAT Or will it just be a formality as the fate has already been decided? Because in IIFT I felt as if they had already taken a decision just after seeing my GRAD scores.

WAT TOPIC: In a democratic country like India every major decision should be taken through a referrumdum.
Two interviewers in the panel, one Male and another Female
Gentleman: What are you doing currently?
Me: Answered. Told about my company and my work.
Lady: okay, So why sustainable management?
Me: Specialization is necessary in today's world and my answer was based on that.
L: Since you have calls from newer IIMs too, which one would you choose, PGP at newer IIMs or PGPSM at L?
Me: TBH havent yet decided about it and I would like to take a call after I get the converts and but right now not much is known about the SM course so I would like to gather much more info before I decide. Having said that the brand name of L might make me decide in its favour ( This was awkward).
G: So what do you know about the course?
Me: Told about the Nodia campus, the course structure. Thats it
G: Tell me about the measures which your company has taken to protect the enviroment
Me: Spoke about having sensors in the conference rooms where the lights are controlled automatically (LOL) and few other examples.
G: Okay. Which country do you think is very much concerned about the environment?
Me: Bhutan!!
G: Bhutan!??
L: Why do say so?
Me: Its the only carbon neutral country in the world. In fact only carbon negative country in the world.
L: Asked why is it carbon neutral?
Me: Its mandated by law that 60% of the land remains under forest cover.
L: So is having a law enough? Why cant we do that in India?
Me: Told them in India laws arent implemented well and citizens arent afraid of it. Gave an example of K'taka Legislatures who were planning to construct a housing colony in Kadugodi reserve forest area to show how policticans bend the laws.
G: Have you heard about Tesla?
Me: Yeah, Elon Musk is the CEO. Electric cars etc,
G: Do you think it will have an impact in India? Will they reduce the burden on environment?
Me: No. Tesla might use electricity but the source of electricity in India is mainly coal. So we need to reduce the dependency on coal.
L: In which country do you think this might work?
Me: Thought for few seconds and said France since they use Nuclear Energy for more than 50% of their enery needs.
L: Whats your opinion on Nuclear Energy?
Me: I am in favour of it. Its might be harmful but we should take enough precautions. We need to move towards the renewable sources of energy to meet the growning energy needs.
G: If India produces majority of its electricity from solar, will Tesla be able to make an Impact.
Me: yeah, Solar is clean energy and that will lessen the burden on the environment.
G: what measures can a comman man take to reduce the pollution
Me: Spoke
G: why dont IT companies invest more in Solar?
Me: (Had no idea) TOld solar cells expensive and then spoke a bit about US going to WTO regarding India helping Solar cell manufactures in India.
L: okay, since you are from South India , tell me which company has been in news for extracting more ground water and in which state?
Me: Coca Cola in Tamil Nadu.
L: Can you give me the name of the city?
Me: Sorry I am unable to recall the name of the city. ( Tirunelveli )
