Guys, need help. I am Gem civil engineer from old nit and also have masters from old iit with work ex of 19 months in metro rail. I have converted ranchi and vgsom. On asking my friend who passed out from vgsom, I got to know that majorly it offers better companies for analytics and some for operations. I can work on the requirements for analytics field but also have option of ranchi. Also, which would be better for consulting domain. Plz suggest if u have any insights as to what should I take between Ranchi and vgsom.
I have enrolled for Takshzila Online classes.
Would joining an unacademy plus course will be of any benefit for any section?
Or takshzila material would be sufficient apart from mocks?

Hello all, With uncertainty hovering over MDI's waitlist movement, I must take a decision to secure a seat at least in one institute and I need insights for making an informed decision. I have a convert from NMIMS in hand and I might convert IIM-U in subsequent lists(If I don't, I might as well leave this pursuit and have my kundli checked first) I am thinking of choosing U for following reasons: 1) Cost : NM is very expensive. 2) Campus life 3) IIM Tag :Yeah I know its a new IIM but NM is no XLRI either. Some people do believe that NM is a better B-school than new IIMs but I just want to know if it is wise to pay more and compromise on a factor like campus life for NM? If there's no marginal difference between two I will go with U. Insights are welcomed!

Guys please give me genuine suggestions!! This was my 4th cat attempt and I scored 99.16%ile with 97-99 in my previous attempts I am 2018 graduate (GEM). This year I converted iim Shillong and iim Udaipur which I converted in my very first year, my workex till June2021 will be of 26 months. Right now I am in great distress, I believe that much finance opportunities would not be available in these colleges. But terrified of discrimination against GEM in coming years. What should I do?? Help plz P.s I feel Shillong has a locational disadvantage and faculty is subpar

I am a beginner at CAT preparation and have some queries. Can anyone please share how to properly attempt mocks?
How many mocks should someone take. know a person who took 35-40 mocks and still got a pathetic percentile and I feel like those many mocks are enough but still :/
How often should a person change their way of attempting mocks for new strategies and how does one properly analyze a mock?
What has personally helped any repeaters to get a good percentile in CAT after a bad attempt?
This community has been really helpful so far and I have favourited many post due to the incredibly detailed and informative answers, would appreciate any such comments under this post as well.

A dream to be at a better place than they currently are, and from there the concept of dream team comes, people who resonate towards a common goal, they aim for the top and nothing less, there are falls, there are ups and downs, but the one thing that does not budge is that dream.

So what am I here for?
I am here as the representative of DT'21 and we wish to get people onboard towards the journey from CAT to making it to a B-school and beyond that, DT is a family, we are not the best, we do not want to be, we are just people who were here, solving questions day and night, slogging our backs off before PIs and somehow we made it, DT has been on PG for many years now, they switched to .. 3 years back and now people like you, maybe you, will be a part of DT.
Cutting it short(ironic after what all I have said above), this post has a link for the application of DT'21, please fill the form at the earliest and as per the pool of candidates we will pick some and have an interaction with them, and the team will decide which people can carry forward the DT legacy.
I cannot stress this enough that DT is a "family", just your past CAT score or mocks won't determine if you are a fit for DT.That is why we want an interaction,not an interview, just a friendly interaction.
For now we are taking people in who have taken CAT before, we will release the form again when the mock season has had enough mocks for us to analyse where you stand.
