Hello guys, I am a 2020 M.Sc graduate. Do not have a job right now at hand. Female. I got selected for IIM Udaipur, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Kashipur, Jammu. Waitlisted in IIM Trichy and Bodh Gaya, SCMHRD. I am interested in specialising either in Marketing or HR. Which institute would you suggest me to join? I think I can do better in CAT 2021. Will opting for that be too much of a risk as I wont be having a job in the mean time?

Hi. I am currently working in a fintech company as a programmer with around 65k monthly salary. Got DOMS IITM in hand. I wish to switch career. Currently I have 4 years of workex. My profile is excellent and I think I can standout in a croud like in IITM. Should I continue with my current work or should I pursue MBA with IITM? I dnt think I can make much difference in CAT than now since I am working.

Please friends help me. Each of you please express their thoughts on this. I'm preparing for MH-MBA CET (2nd attempt) Targeting for jbims. I'm sure about converting IIMN. But Lectures will get started from aug-sep (correct me if I'm wrong) and I'm sure MBA-CET will not happen till then. Atleast till August. And even after that CAP process will be there for 1-2 more months What do you think of this case?

Gonna post this here because well, I'm insecure. Currently a final year student with a 95/91/75 profile. Scored a 99.07 in first attempt. Got job offers from IT services firms via campus placements, ones I loathe because of obvious reasons.
Based on my waitlist numbers, I'll most likely convert Udaipur among the CAP IIMs. Truth be told, the only other CAP IIM I had hoped for was Trichy, which has also waitlisted me. I'll get to know the WL number after 28th.
Still waiting for MDI and IIFT results which seem like a tough bet. I'm asking you guys for suggestions. Should I take up Udaipur or Trichy if I convert or go for CAT again? Don't have any preferred domain. If anyone has any idea about how Udaipur and Trichy are doing via a college senior, or any other contacts, do tell. I personally don't know anybody at these institutes so reaching out for suggestions and opinions.
Do the arguments mentioned in the above post hold any ground?
P.S- I have converted IIM C but the post scared the hell out of me and makes me want to rethink my decision.
I am wanting some serious advice over the bschools options I have from all the OGs here. At the moment, my sure shot converts (and convertible waitlists) are IMTG core, DoMS IIT madras (wl 12), IIM Kashipur (wl 541), GEM.
SJMSOM it is 290wl, and I am waiting for MDI.
What choice should I make as of now? with reasons please. Can't take CAT again.
Completely confused about which to choose for my profile. 37 months marketing experience at the time of joining. GEM profile with decent acads. I am inclined towards marketing because of my experience but I am not set against it. Trichy or Ranchi or Udaipur? Please help me choose, DM me if you wish to discuss. Here in all polls Trichy is preferred for some reason but talking to students it seems all new IIMs are comparable. I am confused where to finalise and submit the fees. Each college has decent roles offered across all profiles.
For those of us who have made it to decent B-Schools, is a sense of dread setting in? I have admits from a few top 10 colleges, but since reading up about the placement process and "CV Points", the imposter syndrome has slowly started to creep in.
I don't have a stellar profile. I have practically no achievements at even a school/college level let alone at a State/National level. I have a couple of workplace achievements, but none which are particularly eye catching. In the race for CV points, I'm afraid I'll end up with very few.
Is it possible the colleges made a mistake in selecting me?

Hi everyone!
I've been lucky enough to convert IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta. As fortunate as I am, confusion got the better hold of me during the last week. I spoke to seniors at B and a couple of them from C, but nothing gave me clarity yet.
I'm interested in consulting, specifically in MBB - have 2 years of work exp in a boutique consulting firm. I have a 9/9/9 but absolutely no PORs or any good ECs or national level scholarships etc.
Seniors at these campuses are telling that I'll have a better shot at getting shortlisted for top consults at Calcutta than Bangalore since every 4th person there has similar acads. At the same time, it might entirely be possible that folks at Cal might hold better PORs or have good ECs, so who knows? I've researched a lot and I don't find anything much different between A,B and C in terms of professors, post graduation opportunities or brand image.
My sample set (who I spoke to) is very small. Request all seniors who're studing at IIM B and IIM C to advice me on this (need to take decision in 1 day to submit resignation date)
