One of my friends who is a fresher is confused between TAPMI and GLIM PGDM.... As far as I know, GLIM's PGPM is better than PGDM but his logic is that since pgdm is focused on freshers, it will be better for him and TAPMI has very small number of freshers and their curriculum is geared like it as well.... Can anyone help in this scenario?.... Any inputs are appreciated š
IIM Ranchi vs IIM Udaipur
Please provide your insights, is the difference too big to choose one over the other, are they comparable and at the same level.
Had a lovely interview experience at Calcutta though, no harsh memories there. I'm glad I was one of the contenders :) Leaning tha towards IIMB anyway, but this effectively cements the decision!Ā
Congratulations to all the converts!
I don't intend to attend FMS, so uska results is not something I'm looking forward to anyway. I had a lovely time on this platform - you all were a lovely crowd to compete with! This shall forever be one of the most exciting phases of my life, always cherished - you all are a virtual family, at this point.Ā
From 9pm-11pm mocks and 2am-5am revisions/analyses, to ranting about Slot 2 unfairness, to waiting it out and lending a shoulder to friends who need it, to ranting some more about how taxing this process has been I ended up at Bangalore :)Ā
Congrats to everyone who converted IIM Calcutta !!!
While for others who are on waitlist, I have posted the last year statistics on the blog. Use them as a reference if you wish to know your chances [just search for IIM Calcutta on the blog] Thanks !!!!
Many students aspire to experience consulting, venture capital and join a premiere institute. We had the pleasure to host a recent graduate of FMS Delhi Ā (Batch of 2021) who has shared his journey in the video below:Ā
Very glad to announce that i have got converts from all of the holy trinity <3
I would like to thank the PG community, for sailing with me in this sea of Ā uncertanities. This time CAT has definetly taken a toll on everyone, starting with the pattern change, unknown questions, late results, late shortlists, short online interviews and eventually very late results. Atleast these past 6 months gave me the mental strength to tackle the next 2 years for my MBA.
I really hope everyone would make it to their dream colleges and those who didnt, I really hope you will make it eventually and laugh about these times.
This post and my journey here in PG wouldnt be complete if i didnt thank some wonderful people here who provided some useful information, awesome memes and unfunny rumours.
Special thanks to pinku who made this journey more intresting through his/her memes :pĀ
My sole takeaway from the Calcutta waitlist today:Ā
⨠Interview experiences are extremely subjective! āØĀ
I'll be heading to Bangalore after what was certainly the worst interview I had this season. It's (almost) a straight reject from Calcutta after what was my absolute best interview!Ā
I had such a fun time with the Cal professors, they were laughing and giggling and P2 even complimented one of my responses with "You answered that very well, Akainu". Goes to show how getting demotivated after an interview isn't the way to go, and keeping your hopes too high up after a good one isn't, either!Ā
It was a lesson for me too, tbh. I'd be lying if I didn't admit this. I was pretty much certain of a Calcutta convert but oh well, here we are - still numb to the waitlist tbh. It'll kick in, in a while. A part of me wants to admit this could've been due the to borderline percentile but that's not how I've perceived interviews so that isn't where the blame lies. I messed up the PI somewhere, and I paid for it in full.Ā
But theek hai, first attempt at CAT and I think I did well - no regrets, and that's all that should matter. I'm extremely satisfied! Anyway, that's all I wanted to say here. This is probably my second last post here.Ā
