What a day it has been!! Started with practically a Shillong reject (too high WL) taking a toll on my confidence to a Bangalore convert and ended with an XL BM WL-64 (which could've been cleared easily looking at past trends).
Anyway, IIMB it is.
Congratulations to everyone on their converts.

Need a honest feedback about XLRI NCR. Today as I converted NCR, I spoke to seniors. The reactions - XLRI Jamshedpur Seniors - Don't join. Not worth the money and is over hyped. XLRI NCR Seniors - We are as good as IIM Kozhikode, NITIE, MDI and SP Jain. They used the same language used in promotional spam mails of NCR. It looks like these students themselves designed those mailers. Coming to my doubt - Why are there so many contradictory views about both the campuses ? If NCR is so good, why are they not revealing their placements stats ? If everything about JSR and NCR are same, why a different campus ? Increase the strength of JSR itself. Lastly, If the campuses have such good relations with each other, why are JSR students telling everyone not to join NCR ? I need answers as now, it is a matter of 24 Lakhs. Also, I wish SmartGirl27 was polite and got real answers to her questions. All her queries seem valid now.
Need some feedback. I have been hearing things like only 20% students get the average package mentioned in placement reports rest all get 8-15lpa type packages in IIM K and I. How much of this is true?

It has been a long journey. Its a difficult journey to articulate as everything was so fast-paced and without perspective, everything was unsure of, from the beginning and till the end, it was the same. If I delve and look back into the past, post Aug 2020, almost every second ,my mind was captivated by the idea of an MBA from top B school and how to get that prestigious seat. We were a humongous amount of rats in the race of CAT . A CAT which tails leads to an interview and post that a seat in B school, a seat which demands of such rigour and captivation . There have been a lot of occasions you doubt the process and when you see others succeed in the same process ,you start doubting yourself. That eventually hampers your well-being in all facets of life , but ultimately that is what we are being prepared for, to bring out our best at the most stressful times, exactly what life wants to teach us, I reckon. For the record, it is 5 AM in the morning and I haven't slept all night , and I am all alone and I don't feel tired, in contrary i feel the freshest I have felt in the past 10 months.I feel complete. The reason being just 12 hours ago, I was selected for a seat in management in IIM Bangalore and 36 hours ago,was rejected for a one in IIM Ahmedabad. In one day interval I have felt immense unshown pain and immense seen happiness. I am pretty sure ,the pain and joy had been felt by everyone who is a part of this race. Life still holds a lot of variables and unknowns, in other words ,the battle has just started. Anyway, this moment is mine, it's ours, it's of the people whose B- School ASPIRANT journey has ended and a new journey is on the way. Kishan Agarwal
Hate the fact that I couldn't convert shillong. Didn't even feel bad seeing the reject but weirdly now it started. CAP should be little generous 🤞

Finally, XL results are out... Finally after being thrashed by iit B, nitie and being put in bad position by IIM shillong.. My life saw something happen... Nothing happened in BM.. not surprised abt BM jsr but was expecting atleast some waiting in BM ncr.. but can't decode criteria.. Will not spoil what i got after so much struggle.. so let me tell you, it is said XL is your second chance... Currently waitlisted-59 in HRM jsr.. my acads are just 8.6/76/73.. I have 2 years gap.. Hoping to convert in 1st waitlist itself... yes, not what i wanted but beggars are not choosers right!! I had 2 best PIs, one of XL HRM and other was IIM shillong.. I got an almost as good as rejected waitlist number in shillong... Whole point is acads, gap do influence results but there is always someone who will give you chance.. P.s. I have no BLACKI calls,only better call left is FMS, which also is touch and go... Thanks everyone to who have helped me... 🙏🙏🙏🙏

IIM Bangalore it is PG fam!. Very new to PG, but positive feels only.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to quit their job and prepare for CAT, but I took that hard decision amidst the pandemic. Luckily that decision has paid off.
