Now that we have some bad interview questions/experiences few posts down the page, time for some happy thoughts... Which interview experience(or any question) was the best one for you that really made you smile like crazy the whole day(s) after? Mine was IIT Kharagpur (icyr, the very one that greeted me with a 'okay so this is going to be a grilling interview'). It was a true 'inter'-'view' indeed. For each question, the panelists laid down a real-life example first, asked the question. Then when I answered it, they'd add to it their own views further. So it wasn't just a one-way lane, but a true exchange of views as we got to know each other (and our point of views better). It has been the benchmark for me for all the interviews in my life to come. β₯οΈ

Someone emailed IIMA and they have replied saying results will be out in May second week, IIMC ka interviews only are going on till April End. Will L, K release their results before A & C then?
I will be dead with anxiety before these results come.

Got to hear 3rd "all the best" of this interview season from IIM I panelist( other 2 were MDI and NITIE).. Has "all the best" got something to do with selection and rejection? Should it be taken positively or negatively or am I just overthinking? Kindly do provide ur insights..
When it's a bright day outside and you feel you are ready to slay the interview !π And panelists start bombarding you with Calculus, matrices,Eigen values ,graphs, random GK and harsh comments.π You :

Any idea when Indore list will be out? Had seen in a grp that interviews are ending this week. In that case, will they dare to release the result before A,C etc??
People: Ask for opinion Me: gives a different opinion than their opinion People: HOW CAN U HAVE THAT OPINION... UR OPINION IS BULLSH!T Le me:
Heh...
With interview season almost over, please share the worst and chill panelists you guys faced this season. For me Worst - IIM Lucknow ( just 5min interview plus they didn't seem interested in taking the interview) Best - IIM Kozhikode (very chill 15 min interview based totally on my work ex. Felt more like a conversation than interview)
Hey Puys and Pirls!
So I am seriously not one who puts polls on PG asking about chances of conversion but with the anxiety I'm in right now, especially with results of B around the corner, here's me asking your opinion.Β
Profile - GEM Fresher with 95(10 CGPA)/95.4/94.7 acads (10th/12th/Grad).Β
CAT %ile - 99.44 (97.07/99.64/96.96 - VARC/DILR/QA)Β
B is my best call and everything so far has gone to my favour, right from getting a call to having my best score in LRDI which they give weightage to the highest.Β
WAT was pretty good. I have zero issues with grammar but in the worst case, I could have lost out on one or two points relevant to the topic.Β
PI wise, B was my best PI as well. Zero grilling, except for the question of why MBA as a fresher. They digged deep about a book I'd read in the past and my future career goals, asked some opinions about a lending library I'd begun in school and how that would work as a business venture if tried out now.Β
So the obvious question: do I stand a chance at converting B given the slightly sub-par percentile (I'm a GEM fresher, so yeah) and zero work ex?
