I understand some things. I am yet to understand a lot of things. I understand the frustration of aspirants as the unfairness of the education system and most of its aspects - right from the entry via reservation / money, the passage through rote learning, the exit through the realisation that the fruit wasn't what you expected. I don't understand why aspirants take out the frustration of issues like caste reservation on each other instead of on the ones who are in fact responsible for their existence and their continuance. If you really want the system to change, fight the system, fight the system by questioning the authorities concerned who are still willing to toe the line despite it being visibly failing (oh, so miserably), fight the system by forcing your local representatives to bring these issues in local elections and higher level party meetings, fight the system by starting online hashtags to aware the mass of the same. Fight the system by questioning the drivers of the system, not by crushing the passengers of the system. "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Remember, please, our fight is not against ourselves, but against the system that's been forced upon us. We can either fight among ourselves as it breaks our shoulders or come together, lift it together and throw it so far that noone can ever dare to reach to it and bring it back here. I am sorry if this post was too long. I am not even aware how this post became so long, maybe it's just that I am literally fed up of seeing so many posts and (supposedly) memes brewing clashes. However, I am not sorry for writing it out. Stop this 'whatever this is'.
(For better reach) Same people who say "Why are rich SC/ST getting reservation? Reservation is okay as long as poor people benefit from it" are lambasting EWS now. The sheer hypocrisy is laughable.

Please resolve my moral dilemma. I beg. I am a poor GEM, during my college years, i used to spend days playing pubg, smoking weed, impressing girls,bunking classes despite being aware of my parents poor economic background. As a result of this I performed poorly in exams and also couldn't get any placement except tcs(2.5 lacs ctc). My friends having same economic background worked hard and participated in coding competitions like tcs digital, got CTC above 7 lacs. Now bcoz my family income is below 8 lacs should I apply for ews knowing that only I am responsible for my current situation??

EWS vs SC vs ST vs OBC vs GEN ka game khel khel ke time barbaad kar rahe ho hone kuch nahi hai. Asli ladai Ameer aur Gareeb ki hai. Chahe wo Rich GEN vs Middle Class GEN, Rich SC vs Poor SC etc etc . Jabh tak desh mein Casteism hai, Reservation rahega. Plus Vote bank politics isko almost impossible bana deta hai amendment perspective se. Also Reservation isn't just about helping the person to get Job/education it is also about representation in various branches of the Govt. Kaafi history hai inn sab cheezo ke peeche. take time to read on that. Baaki tum logo ko marzi bakchodi karni hai memes banani hai banao par hona kuch nahi hai.

Just a thought. Education is supposed to be fair for all? Forget about reality, just speak the truth as per your thoughts. But I read this quote and this makes so much sense. Truth is like poetry and people ...ing hate poetry. So it's better to shut the ... up and let everyone speak because nothing else matters.
