[Long post, relatively] Alright, this one's for my fallen brothers and sisters. Those with a reject, those who have had a terrible interview and are feeling low as 🦆. The way I see it, a B school interview has more to do with whether or not you fit into the culture of the school.
Calcutta wants quant oriented students, they ask that in their interviews. Ahmedabad wants an overall personality gauge: that's what they'd ask. Being rejected from an interview simply means you'd have a hard time keeping up with the culture at that school. It means, you're not a good fit: it does NOT mean that you're doomed a failure as a manager. Based on your performance in academics throughout your career, they KNOW your potential academically.
The interviews are not a test of all that shit. It's about how you handle situations, how you deal with perspectives different from your own, how quickly you can respond, whether you can think outside the box. And if you lack in some of these, that's totally fine because not being the same as everyone else is what makes you unique.
So I'm tired too, of people posting that they feel dejected and they feel like they're worthless because of like, 3? 4? rejections? Bruh. Come on. An average human lives on for 80 years. Retires at 63. You're like 25? 30 tops? You've got half your life revolving around your career left. Another quarter of your life to be spent in retirement left, and four or five rejections is what makes you question yourself as a human? Think it over. Everyone is fkn special, and so are you.
Keep that chin high ffs, and stop being so sad. Slide into my DMs if you need someone to talk to, or vent.

they also dream't of top school at least we got the chance to show something on the table. i believe we all have come a long way and we will go further a long way just move on
10 min of interview or 2 hour of paper is just a time and it will pass
