So with DU dfs and dbe announcing that there will be no gd-pi, I think that it is safe to assume that FMS too will follow suit nd for the 2nd consecutive year admit students without the gd-pi. This is just so unfortunate for people who had borderline percentiles nd were banking on an exceptional gd-pi and extempore performance for FMS.

Average CAP interview and 98.42 cat. 32 months work experience till December 2020. What do you think of my chances? Where am I going in new IIMs? Usse zyada na koi calls hai na koi umeed. Fatti padi hai bc. 98 pe agar kahi na hua na toh I am leaving this game and going for GMAT.

Unrelated to CAT, but there will be a crowd overlap so asking it here. What happened to the PGDBA offered by IIMC/ISI/IIT Kgp together? No news of the exam yet? Have they discontinued it, or is this a normal thing to be expected? I'd thought of sending the program chairperson an email but decided to ask here first.

Just read a quote on LinkedIn: Good companies often lose great talent due to bad interviewers. And that's all I have to say to all those who toiled hard all this time but couldn't justify the same during PI - maybe because they weren't asked anything remotely related to that or their vision, mission, or passion, or got anxious and panicked, and are feeling/felt low after logging out of PI. You may have lost one opportunity, but don't let that affect your goal. Important destinations often have multiple roads leading up to them. What's important is that you continue your journey.

Curious Case of Bond Market Movement!

Bond market has been moving up since the budget, much to the displeasure of RBI. Yield on 10-year government bond has crossed 6.2% from 5.9% just before the budget. Not only India, even globally, bond markets have been behaving much the same despite all the assurance being given by the central banks. As a side-effect of this, equity markets witnessed huge sell-off about two weeks back, the day when US government bond yields rose sharply. So, why is bond markets behaving like this and why are central banks worried? An attempt to understand the dynamics and issues involved.
