Hey! Any idea what would be the highest score in cat this year? Asking because IIM L has a 60percent weightage to cat, and 60 marks are given to the top scorer and proportionally to all the other candidates.

Hello people. I realised a mistake in my cat form in which I submitted the best of 5 score for standard 10th. Thus marks of one subject are left out. Thus i have reported 96.8 percentage while it is coming 95.33 considering all subjects. I have mailed about this to cat helpdesk. Would there be any serious consequences of this?
I have a percentile of 99.54. Converting that to a rank considering ~190,000 people wrote CAT 2020, it comes to ~875.
Last year a rank of 875 would have fetched a ~99.58 percentile.
Assuming there is a college, XYZ ,that calls top 1000 people for interview solely based on cat score, would my chances be equal to a guy who scored 99.58 last year?
Is there some info that I am missing. If so, please feel free to correct me.

IIM Lucknow uses mean and standard deviation in calculation of Grad's score for composite score. After that, it scales those score on a scale of 0-10.
Try calculating the composite score of graduation (assuming any reasonable mean and standard deviation), and scale it on 0-10, you will find it to be independent of mean and standard deviation. It depends only upon the score of lowest and highest scorers in that feild (engineering, commerce, arts, etc.). Your composite score will be the exact interpolation of lowest and highest scorers, lowest scorers composite score being 0 and that of the highest scorer being 10 .....
