I've been dating this girl for 6 months now and her birthday is striking right up this week. She's an intelligent woman, blessed with poise, grace and charm and I really can't think of any sophisitcated gift to surprise her with. She means the world to me and I really want to let her know my feelings for her. I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE ARE SO MUCH CRAZY ABOUT IIMS. Either they Dont know about Any-other Colleges or they just wanted a IIM-tag in life.
As For My info: if someone is From General and scores less than 85% in 10th-12th you are alredy debarred from BLACKI unless you are from Arts background. Though IIM-Sh has some hope for you But if you are Engineer from Core Branch Mba in Operations is good and well sought choice for you. So as NITIE, IITB, Vgsom, XLRI(B.M), MDI, you should consider them..

I need your opinion about what what should I study before joining the B-school. I am currently learning a foreign language(Online) and doing a course on excel on Udemy (Not certification though).
Also, I am not sure about my specilization so kindly suggest what you guys are studying these days (for current batch students) & what should I prepare beforehand academically (If any senior/s can help).

Why does fms have only 15 permanent faculty listed on it's faculty directory? Is that suffecient for a full batch? Accounting for the lack of infrastructure, and how the interviews weren't even held, is the quality of education and pedagogy really at par with the top 6 iim's and xlri? Or is it just hyped because of the roi and the placement numbers? Asking for real answers.

I am currently in the final year of IIT Kharagpur doing my masters from there. Preparing for CAT 2020. In 10th I had 72%, 12th-76%, BTech-69, Masters I have 78% ( till 1st year)and 13 month of work ex. Will I be able to get SP Jain profile based call?
To everyone preparing for CAT/ pursuing MBA, why do/did you want to do MBA?
I wrote CAT last year and in the interviews I was reminded time and again that none of my answers to "Why MBA?" were genuine. And saying 'because of the money' or 'seems like a good step in the career forward' was not an option.
Help please.

I didn't apply for IIM Jammu. Now they are considering me for their admission process. Apparantely, I am waitlisted and got a mail seeking expression of interest. This does not bode well for the college. You should only prefer students who have applied. I am not intending to bash the college here. But students who applied should know this.
