Hi Kesh King Sir, I am stuck in an ugly situation. I told my gf that I wish to take admission in IIM Shillong while she doesn't want me to go. She fears that if I move to Shillong, I will be seduced by the pretty girls of Meghalaya and will start ignoring her. She wanted me to give CET and convert JBIMS, as it is the best college in this country but at that time I complained that I don't like her SoBo girl attitude and that's the reason I didn't want to live in Mumbai that time. She always scolds me by stating that she has always lived in SoBo and this attitude won't go easily and gets angry with me whenever I say I love Allen Solly clothes more than Zara and then calls me cheap. But still, I really love her and now regret not applying for CET and I also remember that my ex dumped me for a guy from JB. What should I do now ? 😜
Hello everyone, I need advice about some something. First, let me give you a bit of a background about myself. I graduated in 2015 from one of the top NITs in 2015 and subseqently worked in Operations field for one year. There after, I resigned and began preparing for UPSC exams. Having already failed at various stages of UPSC for 4 times, I gave CAT this year but without any preparation as I was still fixated on my IAS dream. Since the exam plays to my strengths, I got 99.58 with 70/50/50 raw score. I had not filled any college forms and since I a m a GEM with poor acads of 87/74/68 and therefore got calls only from CAP IIMs where I converted all except Ranchi. Now, I am facing a dilemma whether to join new IIM or not as I believe I can get 200+ in CAT 2020 with preparation and get much better college. This also opens up chance to give one last attempt at UPSC but I will be 30 years old by the time I will be done with MBA in that case. I have two queries:- 1) How much will my placements be affected due to my huge gap? 2) AB is impossible and C next to impossible so will I be better served by getting a job again and going to ISB, incidentally suggested by CAP interviewers. It would be great if you people could give some perspective and help me out.
