Bhai saab, ho kya rha hai? Matlab, tamasha hi bana rkha bilkul. Kisi ki website nai khulti to kisi ki waitlist nai upload hoti. Koi waitlist 10000 paar kara de rha hai to koi waitlist DEKHNE ke paise maang rha hai. Aur mangna to theek, lakh lakh rupaiye maang le rha hai. Koi GEM bolke reject kar rha to koi FRESHER. Koi High percentiler bol ke reject kar rha to koi low. 


Kasam se bhai saab, ek hi feel aa rhi ki Main Mad****od hun jo isme aaya.

Hi! I need some rational opinions about my situation. Any help will be much appreciated. I am a GEF, Fresher this year.

10th/12th/Grad-96.67/96.83/71.82(Chemical Engineering-State Govt College)

CAT19- 98.18 OA.

I had calls from K, I, S, CAP, SJMSOM, IIFT, NITIE, NMIMS

Converts so far: NITIE, 8/9 CAP IIMs, NMIMS

Waitlisted- S (79), I (a very borderline case)

Rejects- K

I did not apply to SPJ as I was unsure of the specialization and MDI I missed due to a gaping lack of awareness. 

I gave CAT with average prep. I am average in DILR and Quant. VARC however plays to my strengths. I have a placement at a good firm but it is a 6 days a week plant based job in some remote location really far from home. I am absolutely disinterested in this job. Unsure about the certainity of the job however a pay cut is imminent.

Should I go for an MBA this year considering I convert my best calls and ones I already have or should I take the risk and go for this Chemical Job and live to see better calls and converts next year (I will have no workex points in CAT20) or next to next year?

Edit: An argument I hear a lot against appearing for CAT20 time and again is that it is better to join a college now and make up for the difference of not going to the absolute best by switiching jobs later on after MBA. How logical is this argument or if it even has any merit?
