Friends some one claims in some polls where significant students are dropping out of MBA or may be assesing whether they should go for it now in view of the current pandemic/lockdown crisis. Wanted to check how true is that? Pls pls pls ..share ur views

Guys considering the situation now ..though I converted IMT, I want to consider the option of taking CAT again this year ..But I currently have around 2.5 yrs of work ex ..will adding one more year create any problems during admissions and also do I have any chance for old IIMs and what is the percentile i should target..confused whether to join now or prepare again ..need some genuine opinions please .. Is it wise for a fresher to join A tier 2 mba college this year considering job situation is going to be very uncertain this year and mba placements will happen around 2021 october so things might change that time. Any input about this.

Most probably, Next month we would be joining our colleges and would be starting with the online classes i suppose till situation clears up. Being an Engineer and having a work experience in Manufacturing and Operations, I have little knowhow of Marketing/ Finance and other business subjects.
Pls suggest me a rough plan for one month so that I could have a basic idea about business Management till our online classes start. Kindly suggest any online courses, Articles to start with.
People dont talk much about such stuff. Maybe this will help many in better planning till MBA starts.

Guys I was just watching the TV show “The Office “ (US version ) and I think we can learn a thing or two about management from a character “ Micheal Scott” A quote by Micheal Scott , who said this about his subordinate , really hit me hard !!! “Would I rather be feared or loved? Most of the IIMs are already preparing to have online classes at least for the next 6 months. Will this create an issue in the MBA education that we get ? Already a 20 month classroom course, which might become a 12-13 month classroom program. How will the industry react to it ?

I am getting strong gut feeling to not to go for MBA this year considering ✓ 6 months online classes or atleast till sept ✓ placements won't be next to normal any soon ✓ Work ex can be additional advantage, and in worst case at least you aren't unemployed. Can you put some reasons why you would be doing MBA this year itself. I really need to have a clear comparison.
