We all know the importance of past year papers of TIME (AIMCATs) and IMS (SIMCATs) that are readily available to for your preparation.
These are easily accessible and are the best medium to ensure top notch quality of your CAT preparation.
The quality of questions and the varying difficulty level, is what we need to be prepared for while appearing for CAT. As the next SIMCAT will take place in the month of June and the notification of AIMCAT is yet to come, you would currently find yourselves extensively practicing from these past year mocks and this shall continue for this whole month.
To aid your preparation, here I come up with the analysis of SIMCAT 1 LRDI section of 2019. I will cover every question of SIMCAT 2019’s LRDI section each day and shall provide you with a detailed analysis of the same. I also plan to cover the QA section but that depends upon the amount of time we are left with.
I do hope whoever is facing difficulties in this particular section finds this analysis to his benefit. The major factor which helps in faring well in this section is to improve the set selection and time management and I wish to inculcate the same in the people who want to improve their scores in this section.
I do not know how the outcome of all this would come out to be and hence I ask all the serious aspirants who will be solving these past year papers to participate in this poll and let me know whether to prepare more of these or not.

What percentile should a non engineer general male with average acads and 2 years of work exp target to get call from IIM ABC?
NITIE ka group mein Baba RR ka post aa gaya hai. He has blamed GEMs for their poor acads for not getting a convert from NITIE. I got some insights as to why he has been labeled as a chutiy@. I will come up with a thorough analysis on this matter.
This year is indeed very tough for GEM freshers having 99-99.66 percentile. It's quite commendable that they have scored 99+ in the first attempt but the system is very unfair to them. With 99-99.66 no fresher will have IIM ABCLK calls, some may have IIM I call. Then only FMS, MDI and NITIE remain. Yesterday, there was a gross discrimination against freshers in NITIE's result. After UGC guidelines, FMS is in limbo and we don't know when they will conduct interviews (if they decide to conduct). Let's hope MDI won't discriminate against GEM freshers. However, my personal advice to GEM freshers: if you have 9/8/8 or better acads and you have scored 99-99.66 and have job in hand, try next year to cross 99.66+ mark. You will definitely get something good after all the hard work.
