Hi Guys,
Posting on behalf of a friend who works with TechMahindra.
Tech Mahindra has introduced a freelance worki portal. See the details below:
Wesbite: https://flex.nad.io
Flex.AI is a freelancing portal that gives freelancers access to enterprise level projects with an AI based skill mapping engine to help them choose what’s right for them. It also comes with a Dev, Test, Deploy engine to execute projects in a secure and guided environment while maintaining quality.
This helps students :
1. Get exposure to industry level projects and work culture
2. Train themselves in niche areas and have a job experience before they have a job
3. Create their network in the industry and stay updated on the current trends
4. Earn money while they utilize their available time
5. Can also help in getting a job post college if quality is delivered
So you guys can try if this seems useful and helpful to you.
Cheers.

Posting a few queries. Please shed some light. I was confused how could IIM-Rohtak demand such high non refundable fee which is against AICTE guidelines. Since PGDM course can only be offered by AICTE approved institute, IIMs being registered as society earlier, must have been under AICTE before. Right? Or not? Now after IIM act, being institute of national importance and being overlooked by MHRD and been given greater autonomy... Are IIMs now completely out of ambit of AICTE guidelines?? 2. If they're now overlooked by MHRD, how can they ignore their concerns about offering degrees for one-year courses like executive MBA? 3. Why are most IIMs still not offering degrees like IIM banglore does?
Utilize this lockdown time well. Take this CAT 19 replica open mock paper set by a team of IIM A alumni.
Hello people!
I am planning to write CAT 2020. But I have a couple of queries before I start preparing for it. I graduated in 2016 with a BSc in Maths, Statistics and Economics from Christ University Bangalore. One year gap after graduation due to health reasons. I have been pursuing actuarial science since 2017 and have cleared 4 exams and plan to clear two more before CAT 2020. But I have 0 work ex.
Will it be a big issue when trying to get into a top B-School if I manage to get a good CAT Score?
Other details:
Acads: 89/86/7.31
Category: NC OBC
- No (Other factors can compensate for it)
- Yes (The gap and 0 work ex will be hard to explain)

Placement report 2020 and 2021: 100% placed with avg. ₹x and median ₹1.2x. The PlaceCom is happy. Mind of enlightened Pguy user:
Considering the present situation, expected recession, paying up 18-23lakh, assuming a package of 15-17 LPA( with less variable pay) and withdrawing around 60-70k per month, paying up 42-45k as EMI, assuming you want to pay in 5 years. Ending up at 20-25k. All this scenario, assuming that nothing goes worse.( Setting aside inflated placement figures..etc). Is it worth the risk this year? I'm not talking about top tier colleges. What about colleges like New IIMs/NMIMS/XIMB/IMT?
Shed some light on it. I can't deny the above statement. It doesn't look like good investment to me. Is there something I'm missing or this would be the actual scenario?I have the gone through some videos of takshzila which were from last year. Found them to be pretty good. Can anyone who has taken their QA course this year mention if there are additional good videos which they have uploaded this year or is it not worth considering buying their QA self study bundle if one already has gone their previous videos?
Sad!! 😔😔
8 May ko aayega A ka result
It will be a great relief to aspirants, if all the IIM's declare a fixed result date like A(may 8)and V(may 15)!!!
Results pleasee!
Did anyone from any NIT lost his/her degree certificate? I lost it and need some help. Please ping me if you have faced similar experience or if you know anyone who faced similar problem.
WHICH CAT20 TEST SERIES SHOULD I GET ENROLLED IN? (Do provide reasons after voting)
- I was getting a good offer on the Career Launcher TS, so I purchased that one.
- But I feel like I should get one more, besides CL, so which one should it be? TIME or IMS?
- I have heard that TIME RC's are sometimes too lengthy and in general TIME Mocks are way above on the difficulty level than the actual CAT.
- Although it sure helps in dealing with unpredictable situations in the actual exam. But CAT is moving more towards standardisation of the test format, due to its acceptance by international universities, also evident by the little change in pattern over the last few years. So 'unpredictability' offered by TIME, in my opinion, should not be a very strong factor in its favour.
- IMS on the other hand has the closest level to CAT, I have heard. But again there is a difference in average number of students appearing in IMS or TIME's mocks.
So, bottom line, considering the above factors which one should I go with? Any help/opinion is appreciated. Cheers!

Asking for a friend. General Non Engg female fresher .Given the circumstances, which college would you suggest in North/Central India for an MBA. CMAT/MAT average-below avergae scores. Interest in marketing. Acads-7/8/7(BBA). Not very high expectations , 25-30k job in 2022 is the least she expects. Please do not suggest colleges above 9-10L fee(hostel included). She can't afford to drop so MBA hi karna hai is saal.
Thank you in advance. Help!
