Please help. I have a question ? In the following context :
Was a A+ grader till high school, (dream to become Animator but had no idea nor fund) so took Commerce reluctantly, as a result 12th was an average, took CA cleared halfway through but left due to poor health, graduation sucked (below 60), a C grade govt college, have no extra curricular certificates or internships or certificates, worked in family bookstore and also part time at a trading firm. Want to join MBA to find my lost belief in myself and surely want to get things once again back in order in life. Academically and intellectually good but seriously lacks confidence and ability to communicate. Has never faced an interview.
How should one face an interview in the following context ? what would be the right strategy to face interview ? How to answer questions such as why MBA ?
There are a lot of of intelligent and experienced people on this platform. Any kind of suggestion (positive or negative) will be extremely worthy.

It's urgent 😔
For CAT 2017, I was asked to pay 40000 INR to be considered for shortlisting for IIM-sambalpur in the very last stages, i had a very high WL no so I didn't pay. Did this happen last year with other IIMs as well? Is this how it works?
Just read a few DT posts on here and I must say it definitely motivated me to write CAT2020 again. Staying in this same zone for the whole of 2020 again is going to be a hell of a task but the least I can do is try. Now, I was scoring okayishly in my mocks (averaging between 93-96) but the result in the actual exam turned out to be something else in itself. Without going into details, let's just say it was a pretty disappointing season. I am in a job currently(almost going to be a year, passed out in 2019) and would be preparing simultaneously. I know my verbal is good and can prepare for it on my own. I always used to be scared of DILR and hence put the max effort in it and was actually able to get it to a certain standard. Quant is somewhere I majorly ..... up. Mainly, I realized that I was lacking somewhere conceptually. I would love it if people here could list their sources from where they built up on their quant from the very basics. I took weekend classes in a coaching but was hardly able to attend a lot of classes because of graduation and a lot of illnesses. Kind of reluctant to take classes again as I think it would be a waste of time now and I just want to build up on certain things.

P.S. I know you guys must have a lot of work on your hands with the colleges and everything but would really appreciate your help. Just know a few of you guys because of the mock groups.
Guys, need some help . Do all candidates who clear sectional cutoff are filling IIM-V's form or have they already shortlisted candidates based on composite score?
Iift

Anyone can help ??
Being an IIM-B reject, it wouldn't have been fair if I had shared SOP writing tips. So, here are two students from IIM-A and IIM-B helping you with the same. They have shared the flow of a good SOP along with some critical points you must note.
I can't share their SOPs with you but I've added snippets of different SOPs for your reference. That should give an idea.
