To all those GEMs out here. Firstly, about me - CAT = 99.86; 10/12/BTech = 9/9/8
Status - A,C-Shortlisted; B,L,I-Rejected. K-Waiting. So, it is pretty much A/C or bust. And Mind you, it takes a hell lot of dedication along with ample luck to convert A or C.
Now, coming to the free advice
1. India is not for us. If we put in even 50% of these efforts in US/UK/Canada/Aus, we would be working in a healthy environment with atleast 5 times the salary we get paid after MBA in India.
2. IIMs dont want you. When supply goes up, prices fall. There are thousands of talented GEMs in India. IIMs need only a dozen. So, they dont value you.
3. If you want to stay in India and be rich, the easiest way is to start your own business. It's useless to have degrees.
4. If you are determined to do an MBA from BLACKI, take a long look at yourself and ask your heart one question. Why?
Has IIM Bangalore sent MBA Business Analytics session email to everyone or the selected ones?

Was expecting call from IIM-B and not called. But called by IIM-A. How??
In IIM A, can we fill extra curricular achievements which we've won in some other college?( I think so we are not allowed to write achievements which we've won in our own college, rest all outstation fests achievement you can write it)
There used to be an institute called IIPM which was ranked 4 in many newspapers.
In IIM Rohtak form, what needs to be filled in CGPA obtained, Aggregate CGPA and CGPA in Graduation columns? Is it Semester wise SGPA in "CGPA obtained" column, corresponding CGPA till the semester in Aggregate CGPA column and Overall CGPA in " CGPA in Graduation" column ? My college follows a semester , CGPA system; The form is auto calculating the Aggregate CGPA on its own which is turning out to be wrong for Aggregate CGPA . Can i overwrite it and manually enter the above mentioned grades? Please help
Do we need to upload CAT scores for FMS and XIMB? If so when will the window open ? Or do they take it in the backend
In IIMA form, I did not read the extracurricular section properly and submitted a volunteering experience( not an achievement). How can I get it removed?

Can any one tell me how CAT "INDEX" score for iim kozhikode calculated?
It is mentioned that the scaled scores from individual sections will be used for obtaining index score by giving equal weightage to all 3 sections? How will it be used ?
Is it that Scaled score of Z-candidate will be normalised with respect to the scaled score of the candidate who secured highest score in that section?

10th - 93 12th - 91 Grad - 77
I have no calls till now.
Can someone please tell me if the 10th and 12th weightage given in IIMs is based on percentage or percentile? I initially thought getting above 90 percent in both 10th and 12th will fetch me maximum possible points
If percentile is taken into consideration (among those who apply), then I will most probably get very few points and even after 14 months workex this year and a similar percentile I would not really stand a chance at ABCL next year as well
So please tell me if absolute percentage or percentile in taken into consideration?
