Going by the posts in this group, I can see many people from the General Category disappointed about not getting a call from the top IIMs. While there are many SC/ST guys who need this reservation, there are others who don't need it at all. I know many people from the SC/ST who are quite well off and celebrating their success(some of whom happen to be my friends too). I know many people from General feel they have failed, rightly so, but you will live the rest of your life being proud of your hard work. Unlike those who will feel crippled for the rest of their life. And trust me reservation breaks you, it breaks your confidence, especially if you know you dont need it anymore!
A momentary failure is much better than feeling crippled your entire life!! Cheers!
I have my name in IIM-L shortlist but I am not able to login on their website which says “ you are not shortlisted for WAT-PI or invalid credentials. I have checked the credentials
I just need more Mock-PIs. I'll manage WAT and current affairs. I have joined TIME GWPI and would need more Mock-PIs as I said. What should I join under 4k? I stay in Navi Mumbai.
I stay in Navi Mumbai. Let’s take each other’s Mock PI
Fill the form of a college you don’t want to join and go through the process
have co-founded two ventures. Since I left my job at TCS in December, 2017 and after that I joined my venture full-time.
I have incorporation certificate and all certificates for my venture. What should I upload in Work Experience Document as it's asking for first and last months payslip?
Start-up idea: An app/ web-service that autofills all your basic details (Name, age, address, acads, work exp, etc) in all forms at the time of applying for MBA exams as well as at the time of filling application forms for GDPI. Will save a lot of time and avoid unnecessary redundancy.
Shortlisted candidates usually receive emails by the end of the day (as in the last few years). If you're unable to check using the link, check your emails too.
After the CFA post, I received a lot of queries which went like this, "What else can someone do to boost their CV for finance apart from CFA?". I got in touch with many students who interned in finance and everyone recommended NCFM Modules.
Now, to write more about NCFM, I needed help. So, Divya Surana, my batch mate from KMC shared her experience and I shared mine. And together, we've created a long post for all the students interested in finance sector to know more about how these modules get you shortlists and converts!
