My friend ( an aspirant & who's relative is one of the professors of IIMK ) had a talk with him, a few minutes back personally, told me that if everything remains in order, results will be out tomorrow at most by 3 pm. If this fails again, no 1 can help.
What type of questions do interviewers ask from grad subjects with CS as engg discipline? Are they superficial or detailed? Also is there any resource to get familiar with questions asked in past IIM interviews? Currently I'm relying on past interview experiences.
For a moment there, this came ....lagta bhaiyo kuch kuch ho rha...lagta h aaj hugga rokke laptop ke saamne saari raat baithna padega!!
To the mechanical guys here, what is the best source to prepare for technical subjects? NPTEL videos are too long and consuming. Please suggest some good sources!
Bhai boht bekaar sa doubt hai
pr call ane ka matlab literally phone pr call anaa hota hai
ya mail vagerah aati hai???
https://www.mbauniverse.com/articles/cat-2019-result-date-out Mba universe says it will be out tomorrow, Just pitting it out there
kabhi source code, kabhi kuchh, kabhi aise check karo, kabhi waise check karo.
matlab haalat ye ho rakhi hai ki Incognito khol k iimcat likho toh chrome bhi bol uthta hai ki bhai aaj tujhe kya ho gaya 😝
P.S.: saaf suthre vyaktitva wale log iss post ko samajhne ki koshish na kare
guys, this thing suddenly came to my mind,
The normalisation process goes roughly in a way that how much score people are getting in respective slots at same percentile and then they do scaling right?
Suppose, 70% students of the good students are in slot 1 and 30% are in slot 2 or vice-versa, will scaling still happens in the same way? Isn't it injustice?
Does IIM consider this as an possibliity?
guys i have had a gut feeling from the beginning that the result will be on 4th Jan and i had always predicted so in people's comments. Now im more sure than ever it will be tomorrow.
But if it comes out tomorrow it will be after 3pm so rather than focusing on it atleast in the morning please prepare for xat and those who dont have XAT dont worry I'm gonna start sharing memes on myself tomorrow if results dont come out by 7pm. But if it does come out then please share me any GDPI material that will help me in IIFT atleast (dont know about IIM calls yet).
Thank you!!
In 2017, I had 97.86%ile, was a fresher and screwed up my interview.
To everyone, prepare well for the interviews, a decent percentile doesn't guarantee anything, not even baby IIMs.
I know the pain of getting stuck in life, hopefully, people are not like me : Over-indulging in digital stimulations (You name it) after getting a good score.
I just called on CAT 2019 conveners personal mobile number and enquired the exact result date and he said it is in the hands of Legend RajRoy but he gave a hint that RajRoy decided that all who scored less than 130 are disqualified. After the call ended, Convener messaged me that RajRoy also scored less than 130 and hence disqualified.
Here's a quick study I was doing about the number of calls.
The number of seats in the top 6 are:
A- 385
B- 412
C- 462
L- 436
K- 353
I- 550
i.e. a total of around 2600.
Normally, they send out calls to roughly 3x the number of alloted seats which would be approximately 7800 calls.
The percentage of reserved seats would be close 60% and considering they would send calls in the same proportions, around 40% of 7800, open-category people, that is, top 3200 are likely to get calls from these top 6.
If the calls were made solely on the basis of CAT scores and taking into account the number of people appearing in CAT 2019(roughly 210K), it would mean that a General category person should be north of (210K-3200)/21000= 98.47 %ile to get a call from BLACKI.
Hope this helps.
Not expecting much from CAT as I am getting just 133. How is pgdba course in terms of scope, curriculum and placements? In a doubt to apply due to the fact that it has just 63 seats including reservation. Any insights would be appreciated!
All the best to all the aspirants!!
One more troll for a good night's sleep.😆😆
