Hi Guys! I am in huge dilemma and I genuinely need help in making a rational decision.
I am 25 years old and a female. This was my first attempt towards MBA entrances. I prepared for close to 45 days and have a couple of calls from lower rung bschools (off-campuses of good tier-2 colleges) through CMAT. The average placement of the bschools range between 5-7. The batch is 95% of the batch consists of freshers.
Now, I had to leave my job due to some personal reasons. Currently, staying in a place where there aren't many job opportunities. However, I am in a position to re-locate and get a job now. Next year, I'd be 26 with 4 years of work-ex.
My previous profile:
Female
SSC - 90%
HSC - 66.7% (Open schooling)
Bachelor (Engg) from a state university - 8.1 CGPA
Previous CTC: 4.8 lpa
36 Months of Work-ex : 24 months with a reputed NGO and 12 months with a start-up as a journalist.
On the one hand I am not satisfied with the offers that I currently have, on the other hand my average profile and work-ex (and age) are not siding with me.
Would taking one for year for serious preparations and attempting again make sense of should I go with the offer that I currently have ?
