Puys, need help. Got 89.25 in CAT'12. Missed on many good colleges this year, might be attributed to my below average acads (59.4 in B.E., in particular). Was just wondering should I go for CAT'13 or keep working as a Sofware Engineer (where I really don't wanna be stuck)? In my opinion, colleges give a lot of preference to prev. yr. acads and I am just guessing that even if I could score 96-98%ile this year, would I ever get a decent enough college?


My acads-

10th: 70.6

12th: 63.0

B.E.: 59.4

Work-ex: 27 months (Software Engineer in a CMMI-Level 5 company)


Please assist, I am targeting the Top-20 elite group this year.
