@Ash27Winz said:What you are doing is adding the numbers na? Aren't you supposed to add the "digits"??Eg. 12345678910, sum of dig=46, but sum of 1..10=55...Sheri alle???

@seetharam7 said:ahh. True da. Both me and kevin didn't think like that. We could consider each set of 100 numbers and get the number of 1s,2s etc and multiply and get sum. But there has to be a easier method. . Sorry dude. Pass.@raku1989 Do you know how to approach it ?

@seetharam7 said:@raku1989 Thank you. Your nmat is day after tomo right ?

@Ash27Winz said:Till 999, each of the 9 digits should occur equal times, I guess... Then 111 times each..111*(1+2+...+9)=4995Add 1001, 1002; ie 5,so sum is 5000.Apo pinne remainder 5 aayallo.....
@raku1989 said:U have to consider numbers from 0 to 1001. (First 1002 whole numbers).0 to 999 the sum will be a multiple of 9. (But its not 111(1+2+...9) . Add 10001001. ie 3.So the remainder is 3 here.
