Agree with @raku1989 223. Bro, did you count the repetitive cases or is their some formula or shortcut ?
@seetharam7 Getting it as 2^8 -1-(8+5+10+6+3) =223.
Don't know whether i got all the cases though... let's see the options !!!

@Ash27Winz said:In a test consisting of 15 questions, 3 marks are awarded for a correct answer, 1 mark is deducted for an incorrect answer and no mark is awarded for an unattempted question. If a student attempts at least one question in the paper, what is the number of distinct scores that he can get?Any ideas???
Can someone tell me the difference between unless, whenever and if ?
The way i look at it , unless = if not
@prtm said:10 matchbox are there with each 10 matchsticks.matchbox weight is nill.weight of 9 matchbox including matchsticks is 1gm.there is one matchbox with each matchstick 2gm each.that means there is one matchbox which weighs 20gm.how can we differentiate that matchbox frm other.weighing machine is available only once (hint we have to open matchbox)someone challenge me can anybody help me

. Take 1 matchstick from first box, take 2 from second box, .............take 10 from 10th box and measure the weight. From the weight obtained you will come to know how much match stick u have taken with 2 gms (Just calculate the deviation from the value if it was having matchsticks only of 1gm). That number gives you the number of the box which weighs 20 gm.Does anyone else have the habit of writing sectional tests before a mock to get warmed up ? If you do, will you be doing it on the D day as well ?
