You really can't correlate one's AIMCAT/SIMCAT or any MockCAT scores to CAT... Unlike the paper & pen CATs of the yesteryear, the new online ' normalized CAT' is a totally different being
"Mocks should & must always be treated as mocks alone & not as a benchmark for your final score" !!
Try not to read too much into them & take their results with a pinch of salt !! Ultimately they should only serve to practice different strategies, build up a good tempo throughout the season & more importantly identify your weak areas & temperament !!
Additionally, they form gr8 topics to discuss at PG study groups (not scores but different strategies ) & you also get to scope out your competition..
As an answer to your actual query - I took 19 Aimcats & 10 Proc Mocks 8 Aimcats from 95-99 7 Aimcats from 90-95 4 Aimcats below 90 All Proc Mocks >95 Final CAT score 96.94
96% in XII... "Best Engineer" at the 2012 National Technical Fest "Voice for a better India" at the 2012 National Technical Fest Gold Medalist in French !!

IIM I & K have deemed me unworthy (Well it was a long shot with a 96.94) . I'm seriously contemplating on taking up sport climbing, you know- the adage - two birds with one stone - a bullet for my CV & the only other way I'm gonna get into any one of them !!
@jai89 Bro, Don't pay heed to any of these rumors !! Seniors are repeatedly posting that a good PI will wash away all previous sins !!
My GK score too is not gr8 ... (4.67) & noway close to the mean/median/mode of scores posted on SANSARG's FB page !! Btw, 99.92 & you have doubts on your chances !! P.S : With frens like yours who needs enemies !! If any consolation, !! All the very Best !!

I hope everyone knows this cliche, still ... dedicate some time daily to personality ques besides ur normat WAT , Academics prep ..... get all the possible ques , and get a clear picture of ur ans , think in all ways how it can go , this advice was given by our faculty
Team, with almost all the results out, one stage of the journey is finally over !!
For better or for worse, whatever be the result, it is absolutely gr8 to see that many of us have stuck it out throughout the season... the sheer passion in this group has reached a entire new level & can easily be seen by the increase in participation/posts compared to last year !!
For all my team mates (me included) who have not been able to achieve their true potential, always remember that :

For all my team mates who have received calls, remember ' the hard work put in, remember those long nights !! ' , you owe yourself & the team a convert !!
So let us all buckle up for the next stage - for the next month - My idea :
1) For WAT - Lets post a topic (of relevance) each day & each member is requested to post a few points by the end of the day !!
2) For GD - We can have an online GD (probably on week ends, at an appointed time- if need be) - 20 -30 min in a specified format ? This would even let us get acquainted on current issues & understand varied perspectives !!
3) For PI - Mock Interviews through PM's again at specified times,
I don't know how successful the above initiatives would be but at the very least we won't know unless we try ?
I urge everyone to give some feedback /else provide a better & feasible suggestion ?
Also do post, how u guyz are planning to tackle the next stage - prepartion strategies / Material / Coaching Funda etc !!
What say?? If everyone is game, I will start posting a topic from 2mrw onwards !!

Btw , practice precis writing..for my WAT, there were 2 questions; one was to write a paragraph on a particular topic, another was to summarize 3-4 paragraphs in 130 words..
@dead_alive They conduct interviews in Bnglre I don't think Chennai was there in the list of choices this yr.. Btw, my interview city choice was namma bengaluru too
