Guys after severe bruises this season
...i'm all set for the next season
...the thing i learnt frm this season...4-5 months of just brooding over sums and verbal stuffs dnt work
....have to reallocate all my timetables with first pref to CAT 2013...those who are writin next time please join together with me to make this grp more active than last year

Hello all...i was busy with work stuff lately due to which could'nt figure much in PG... Firstly congratulations to all the call getters...my score is 97.2 this season and I am disappointed like many...thanks to NC-OBC i have managed some calls (C,L,Trichy,Ranchi) so far...but friends I am disappointed with my performance in CAT...sigh...
I have a few words for the newcomers to this thread...CAT is an unpredictable exam..no matter how well you feel you have done uncertainty looms...so its better to keep the expectations low...meanwhile try closing all the loopholes before the C-Day approaches...and give due importance to other exams (my picks being IIFT,XAT)...

I dont know how good things are at TVM and i myself never enrolled for a classroom program..anyways my advice would be
For Mocks:
1)TIME AIMCATS
2) CL MOCKS
Dont go beyond this for you wont get time to analyse your mocks which is very important...
AS for Sectional Tests Practice go for CL TEST GYM...its really exhaustive and really good..will clear your basics really well... ATB :)

see bro, first of all to answer whether CL or Time is better requires a first hand experience of both. I never sat in any Classroom prgms. I was an AIMCATs student and tbh I was happy with it. Cos its better to analyze the exams and correct urself instead of spending a full day in classrooms. TIME is good as far as classroom coaching is concerned ( or so I hv heard). Got some good faculty as well ( some are legends, in fact) but make sure u enrol at Kannammoola or Palayam centers (and not at TIME CET, which aint gonna make it to the end of the season)
Now coming to your acads.. No matter how good ur acads are, u need to score above 99.6 , if u dont have any normal reservations orthe bonus reservations ( like Gender diversity index or the backround diversity index)
.. u must have seen guys in this thread scoring well into 99+ and still not getting all the old IIM calls.. So be prepared..
And before u join anywhere, pay a visit to both the centers and talk to the faculty. And see what ur instinct tells you. And, assuming u r working, make sure you plan ur schedule so that ur work wont interfere with ur preps. ( which is very important, as resigning and preparing for the exam aint advisable)

@farziPandit No idea about trivandrum bro.. I am based in Kochi. But, in the coaching queries thread in PG , Vision Sir himself has mentioned in the very first post that in Trivandrum, TIME is better.

Dude, I was a student of TIME , Tvm (Kannamoola). The faculty is pretty gud. I was a little late to join (July).
Dont have much info about CL. I would strongly recommend TIME, specifically the Kannamoola branch.

Guys, I resigned from TCS today. 
As I had stayed for less than 15 working days, didn't need to break the bond and pay 50K I know it's a risky move but I have put in too much this year. And the way reservation and importance for acads are increasing, I think this is my best shot. Hope everything turns out well. Wish me luck !
