who was till now trying to avoid (skillfully if I may ) any discussion on his XAT experience 
In short XAT turned out to be whatever i expected XAT to be..
Something to keep me up at night for the coming month !!
Atleast no surprises on that front !!
After the xam, I was like :

Somewhere during the course of the exam,(especially while tackling a few of those RC's ), I gained a new respect for the saying, 'When you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back into you'.
Literally had a life moment where it hit me - I would most probably be sitting in the same room, doing the same thing once again a year from now.
That literally sums up my experience
Attempts : (Marks as per Time & TF Keys)
VA/RC - 18 (9.25) (Ambiguity in Keys for few RC's)
DM/AR - 16 (7.25-9.75) ( I don't trust both Keys)
QA - 15 (12.5)
OA - 29 - 31.5
GK - 5.75 TO 6 Marks

one week will decide how the whole season went.. Jan 6 --------> XAT, Jan9---------->CAT results, Jan 10----------> SNAP results.. now that the week has been started in the (least) perfect way possible, and since I dont expect CAT to do any resurrection as far as I am concerned, SNAP is the only event I'm looking forward to..

I too had faced the same problem, but had jst followed the instructions set out for recovery.
They would have asked you for your secret q & mailed the link for the password recovery to your registered e-mail.
Try again a bit later !!
For viewing your CAT score, your Testing ID would suffice & the same is present on your Admit Card.

@Kevin88 I didn't take any other exam.I have a decent GATE score which will help me get into IIT for M.Tech (AIR 129).But still looking 4ward to a good result.All the best buddy :)

nahhh buddy no big hopes...my attempts are very less to gt a call.....hoping that my gmat score will fetch me a convert from IMT-G or IIFT
@thomaschandy Dont worry bro.It's not about the number of attempts, but about the no of questions answered correctly.I'm sure all the hardwork you've put in will pay off :)

@varsha7 You dont need the CAT password anymore , its just your Admit Card ID , Email and DOB to check the CAT results.

The benefits of all the hardwork will be reaped , for some it will come in the form of a stupendous CAT 2012 result tonight, for the others , you ( most prob. me too ) will do it next time. Have faith in yourself 😃
Last time , the results went live around 12:30 am , but you may not be able to see it so sooon due to the heavy traffic. and we may also not be able to succesfully post anything in PG too, due to the same reason.
