Work ex: 2.5 yrs with Infosys

Social Service: Decent
Extra Curr: Good considering I was the Cultural Sect of my college and have led and won many competitions

I applied in the 1st round. My interview went pretty well and may be that's the reason of a decent scholarship. Whats your profile and in which round did u apply?

I have got in touch with the seniors and alumnus and they are pretty happy with the kind of course and the faculty at Weatherhead. One of them told me that the course structure is much like that of top 30 schools

Regarding Cleveland, I dont know if its a boring place or not but all I know its one of the biggest cities of the US. Yes, the location advantage is not as much as Chicago or NY (since there are not many industries) but many B schools outside the top locations are there in top 100 rankings. Case is also climbing every year in FT rankings and is consistently in top 100.

You need to start networking before you join any school and that is how it grows by the time you are looking for placements.

i too applied to case western MBA...had my interview at Taj Delhi on 11 Feb....i have been told to look out for admission info by March first week....i have a admit from Rotman...but without schol it becomes difficult...I am also expecting to crack IMIM, with Erasmus mundus scholarship.

Congrats on your admit and great scholarship. Yes, I've accepted the admit. The other B schools where I've applied are:

Maryland: reject
Katz : Waitlist
York: awaiting result
William n Mary: awaiting Result

I also have a GD/PI call from TISS, mumbai. Would also consider the results of these schools before joining. Will have to weigh these with Weatherhead though I feel the latter is a good option but ROI, exposure everything will have to be considered.

From what i have heard that Case Western is a very good university, and its USP are Language related courses, Organizational Behaviour and Healthcare.

As you may see from the list of recruiting companies, most companies are boutique and majority are from healthcare.

I had applied in R1 and got my decision on Jan31; as per my experience its advisable to apply in R1 if you're seeking good scholarship amount.

hello Ayonde, From where did you find out about their USP? Want to know if it is ne good for supply chain! from the information that i came across on the web, its pretty good for operations research.

I did a bit of research on internet and pinged some guys studying in US. for supply chain, MSU - Broad, Penn state - Smeal are pretty good.

a good indication of most popular concetration (the college's strength - USP) can be the number of students enrolled in it. also see the industry of companies that recruit.
