Since there are no existing threads on this, I am opening one. The purpose is to discuss the various pros and cons of the broadband providers.
My review in Delhi:
Airtel broadband: 1400 p.m. for 4 Mbps unlimited connection(upto 25Gb).After 25 Gb, u get only 256kbps. I wd say quite decent service and I did not face any interruptions. It's just that I had to call them 10 times to install the modem and configure it. The speed is also consistent and even during the daytime, u get 300kbps on an average.

Airtel DTH: Another good product from airtel. By paying 170 p.m., I got a decent no. of channels. But beware of airtel in this category since they advertise a large no. of channels in DTH and ultimately u get only a few useful channels. I wd say when it comes to DTH, tata sky or dish tv or videocon is better and cheaper.

My experience in Mumbai:
Tikona wireless broadband: I pay 800 p.m. for a 756 kbps unlimited connection. The best part is there is no cap, so u can download as much as u want. However, there are quite a no. of interruptions and it sucks especially if you are watching a movie online or downloading something important. But only for browsing, its ok.

Airtel 2G mobile internet: One of the worst services by airtel. Half of the time I dont get a connection especially if I am outside on a road. The speed is also quite low. Not very satisfied with it given that it costs 95 bucks just for 1 Gb download.
