BIMTECH calls out !!!

Hi Guys,

I attended GD/PI at mumbai. some quick facts:

1. people with >= 80 % will only be considered for PGDBM. Others for MIB/RM/Insurance etc...
2. lots of attention to Academics. Good percentage throughout is very essential.
3. mix of students coming for GD/PI ranging from 94% to 44 %
4. freshers prepare yor subjects well.Work ex guys brush up ur domain knowledge.
5. 30 K dd not neccessary for "special call" people appearing on date other than the "special" date.
6. Results will be out in 1 week's time.
7. Essay: US is greatest threat to world's peace. GD: is generation X driving force behind Indian economy. Interview: acads, work ex., why mba etc..

R u sure of this ??????? i had my GD PI on 7th feb .there were ppl who gave it on the 6th feb also ( the so called special calls on 6th n 7th for 80+) but they selected only aronud 60 ppl from all those who came . Now there r 120 seats in PGDBM course . Wouldnt the left 60 come from the

well i think there is some confusion about the institute are u all talking about Birla Institute of Management Technology (Greater Noida)

yes i am pretty sure about this. This is what the panel told us before the GD thing. Many people confirmed this in their PIs also. They were explicitly told that they will be considered for other programmes only.
I saw around 5 people > 88.5 % (mine) reporting for the GD. There were around 15-20 students with > 80% in our 16 feb batch. I too was called on 6 feb at noida, but it was not possible for me to fly down to noida on that date coz i am working in pune. So, there were many people like me who didn't report on 6th but came on 16th. hope it clears the confusion.

I am a First Year Student Of BIMTECH,and my sincere advice to all the students seeking admission here is that "If you have received a Call For Bimtech,then u should surely come for the GD/PI.Come and see our Campus,interact with the seniors,that will be very beneficial".
30000 is to be paid only when you confirm the admission.

on the bimtech site inf is of 2004 not 2005

hi friends...
my interview was held on 23rd in noida( farthest possible place). nicley built building with decent hostel and most outdated cafeteria....
topic for essay was tommrow success start today (which no one looks afterwards)..
topic for gd was reservation of sc/st in educational institutes ( same as i got in fore, k j somaya)..
pi was decent one as they just as calmly some stupid questions on finance v/s accounting..

waiting for result........(not willing to join infact)...
Y pay 4.5 lakh as fees than 2 lakh for hostel and than 50 k for mess charges.. total 7 lakh for 2 year and salary package is just 3 lakh p.a.....what u people say........

i knw the results were to come today but duuno y they r nt out...... i too called but the guy told me that it wiil be declared on 2 march.......and if u r saying that on fone they will tell today.....did u get urs??... if yes pls tell me cos i will surely call them up tomorrow to ask mine...

well i know that the interviews went on till 24th feb... so i guess they need some days to compile the list, etc..

Hi folks,
I am thru... Check ur results on phone: 0120- 2323001---10 (10 lines)..
They r ready with lists for GD centres other than noida.Noda list will come tommorow. this is what a friend of mine told me...

They told me to deposit 30K by 10th march.. and full fees by this month's end.

I have given GD/PI of FORE but don't know when the results will be out... other GDs in pipeline : somaiya's PDBA, somaiya's PGPIB, symbi's operations mgmt (SIOM, nasik)... also expecting welingkar.

Ramit tell me what 2 do yaar.. I know the take is mine but then good advice never hurts seriously, tell me itz so confusing yaar

has the 2n list put 4 PGDBM... is the list put up for MBA frn's plz let the junta kno about happening..
