According to CNBC-TV18's "India's Best B-Schools 2012 Ranking" : BIMTECH - Birla Institute of Management Technology ranked 17th among top B-School to study in India.

Any graduate (completed or appearing final year) with 50% aggregate appearing CAT 2011 can apply to all programmes but for sectoral programmes (Retail, Insurance & sustainable development) one can apply with MAT/XAT scores if CAT not appeared.
You can apply online from 30th Sept 2011 or purchase Scratch Card to fill online form from Axis bank (selected branches), IMS centres, TIME centres, Suvidha...pls. visit BIMTECH - Birla Institute of Management Technology admission pg. for the address.
Those shortlisted on CAT/MAT/XAT CUTOFF will be called for GD/PI/Essay Write-up.

I tired applying for BIMTECH through online application. And in the course selection it is not allowing PDGM-IB or PDGM to be selected. only the other 3 courses are given for opting. Can someone help??

Hi.. I would like to know about the PGDM in Sustainable Devpt Practices at BIMTECH NOIDA. Does anyone know about the placement opoortunities in this? I see that the course is still under processing for AICTE approval , would that be a problem?

i think anything above 65 will get you a call from bimtech rest depends on how u perform

BIMTECH Final Selection:

The merit is prepared on the basis of Weightages given below:

PI
25% (which may include group task & psychometric test)
GD
10%
Write up
10%
CAT/XAT/MAT percentile

Graduation Marks %

10+2/Higher Secondary Marks %

*Misc.

*suitable Weightages for Work experience, Academic & Regional background, Professional Qualification, Institution of Excellence etc. are also given


NOTE: Applying for the admission does not ensure that candidate will be called for GD/PI & write-up process or get admission. The discretion of the admission committee of the Institute will be final in all such matters.

IMPORTANT DATES

Last date for submission of form for all programmes: December 31, 2011

Call for Group Discussion and Personal Interview: last week of January 2012 (tentative)
Venue and Time Schedule for GD & PI: From 15 to 23 Feb. 2012 (tentative)

For all programmes
GD/ PI would be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubneshwar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, and Greater Noida in the month of February 2012 (tentative). The Institute reserves the right to cancel any of the above outstation centres.

Declaration of Final Selection List:
Final Selection List would be declared around March 8, 2012 (tentative)

Fee Submission:

A period of fifteen days would be given to the selected candidates from the day of declaration of final selection list to submit first installment.

Beginning of session
Academic session of all the programmes starts around June 15th (tentative) every year.

Hi Moinuddin,

Placements season is going in full swing at Bimtech. We have some of the best companies coming to bimtech like google, TCS, Madura garments, HDFC, Accenture, Infy, Bajaj Allianz, HCL infosystems, UCO bank and many more to come.... Some of the companies like Mu sigma have offered a compensation of around 8 lacs as well.

The average can be taken to be around 6 lacs.
