My SIBM brochure does not contain a preference form? will my application form be rejected ? i cannot even get the form replaced as i have already filled it up..what should i do?
also, regarding the graduation percentage .since i am still in my final year of B.Tech i have filled in the aggregate percentage ( CGPA to be exact) upto 7 semesters.will that be okay?

Dear sir,

this is regarding filling academic details in application form.
i have done my graduation under10+3+3 format i.e. i did 3year diploma course after Xth and then b.tech thru lateral entry program.

now i have no clue how to fill these details because there's no provision for lateral entry students.

The SIBM application form needs to be sent with a copy of the SNAP REGISTRATION FORM. What is that? How do I get it?

Also, we need to quote the registration number on the preference sheet.

Anybody got a clue?

Don't fret. I dont think it will make that much of a difference as long as its just the email add you've filled that way. Call up SIBM just to be sure.

ya, just write ur snap id where they ask for the snap registration no.

i believe this is asked only in tht preference sheet?
but where do u need its copy?? even i'd filled it.. didnt require it newhere, n i know this for sure cz my application status has already been accepted

sir.. wid an SIBM campus coming up in bangalore also.. does it increase our probability of getting a call from SIBM as compared to getting a call from SCMHRD??
also.. by around how many marks will SIBM's cutoff be higher than SCMHRD's cutoff??
plz help.. coz i m confused between applying to SIBM and SCMHRD. :neutral:

In many forms, the preference sheet is not included. So we are required to attach an extra sheet of paper(as per the website) and quote our preference. Can neone please guide on which one to prefer, Bangalore or Pune.. ?

a lapse from my side .

i have worked for 2 organisations . in the work ex column i ve written the previous employer first and the current employer later , though it was mentioned otherwise . will that cause a serious problem .

Sir,
I had applied for SIBM through SNAP and did not receive the prospectus.However i contacted SIBM office and have received the application form and campus preference form only,and not the brochure/prospectus.
Sir,i would like to know the month till which the total workex duration is to be filled (eg till Dec 07 or Mar 2008 ) as it is not mentioned on the application form and i do not have the prospectus.

Hi

I will approximately get around 64 in snap test.
I want to know whether I should buy SIBM form or with a score of 64 there is no chance.
I have 30 months work experience in BPO.

Please let me know whether I should buy or not.

Hi Sir,
Its is specified in the prospectus that if work-ex is more than 30 we get a full weightage and if its less than 30 & greater than 12 are are awarded a weightage of 5.
I dont find it convincing coz a person with 29months of work ex and a person with 13 months of work ex will be given the same weightage.It would have been better if there were smaller slots of weightage.
Similarly in case of academics..a person with 79% is given same weightage as a person with 66%
please clarify...

Also pls let me know the month till which i need to consider my work ex.. is it 31st Dec'07 or march'08

We consider experience upto 31st December. As far as rules go, we cannot change them.

I cannot comment on the results now. As far as applying to SIBM or not, I think its your call.
