I have not received my prospectus for SIBM so far.I had applied online while registering for SNAP. Is there any number where I can contact and find out whether the prospectus has been dispatched to me or not.In case I don't get the prospectus before 5th Jan what shall I do.

You can send your registration number by email/post at the earliest mentioning your details.

I filled up the SIBM form and sent it yeaterday...
but just nw i realised after looking at this thread that i missed a very important item - THE SNAP REGISTRATION FORM or THE HALL TICKET ....I have only sent the SIBM form along with my college preference...
Please help me out Sir...plzz recommend wht to do nw?? Shall I send the SNAP HALL TICKET separately quoting my SNAP ID and SIBM APPLICATION FORM no.??

few queries regarding the form,
at the back side of teh form it asks for the parents signature.
i boughe the form yesterday..and with 10 days remaining its very difficult to send the form by courier to my dad for his signature..as i myself cannot take leave from office and go just to fetch his signature
what can be done,....?
SIBM is the only form where i see it asks for a parent's signature Why is it so?
also do i need to send anything else with the form

I have a query regarding the Preference we need to mention...
If i select pune then will i not b considered for Bangalore campus in case Pune campus seats are full ?Also, if i select 'both' then will the campus allocation b done randomly?

What about the other institutes-- SIIB and SCMHRD, do they also treat external students the same???

All specializations available at Pune are there at Bangalore, additionally we will offer IT and Agribusiness at Bangalore.


Sir, please clarify as to what specialisations are going to be offered at the bangalore campus, as the same has not being mentioned anywhere in the brochure...

Sorry, can't do it now, you can correct it when you fill up the final form if you are selected.

hi prof. ,

i really want you to help me with this....i by mistake entered wrong details in my Xth marks, as it should be 64.4 instead of 68.4 in my snap registration. Is there any way that i can correct it now.
i would be really greatful if u help me out here.

You can send a copy of your admit card.

hello sir,
In the sibm application form it is asking for the registration form of snap.I went to the snaptest.org site and logged into it using the snap id and password,but i am not able to find the registration page.
Now what do i do? is there any other method to get the registration form?

Hello Sir,

In the brochure,its mentioned that 5 marks will be awarded to those securing 80% or above in 10th and 12th, and 2 marks for less than 80%.

Sir I have 79.4% in 12th. So will I be getting 2 marks or 5 marks for my 12th acads?
Also Sir, don't you feel that I might be loosing out 3 valuable marks just coz of 0.6%:(

So can i round it off to 80% ?

Please advice.

Hi Sir,

I forgot to attach the registration form(or the id card xerox) along with the application form. Can I send an e-mail stating my application details along with a scanned copy of the registration form attached to SIBM or shall I send the same by speed post? Please guide.

Yup Sharang, both campuses will offer the same quality of faculty and placements, don't have any worry on that count.

I read in one of your previous posts that Pune and Bangalore campuses will have same cut-offs.This would be the first year for the Bangalore campus, so i was a little finicky as to the faculty that would be there,the placements and other opportunities.I would like to know whether the Bangalore campus would be equivalent to the Pune campus in terms of these and other factors?

Dear Mihir, for giving calls to students, we consider only the SNAP score. For final admissions it will be a combination of GD/PI, marks, work-ex etc.

Sir ,

Can you kindly throw some light on the admission process , wether SIBM will consider only the 30 marks allocated to the written score or will it also consider the 10 marks for acads and another 10 for wrk ex while giving interview calls ?

Hi Sir,
I have submitted ny sibm application but realised that we had to send a preference form.
I had sent it by speed post on 22nd dec.

I had received the prospectus about 2 mnths back and it did not have any preference form.Would it by default be considered both bangalore and pune.

I also cant find my status on the site kindly suggest what i should do.

Hi,
i am Indrajoy from Noida. I wanted to buy the SIBM form from the coaching institutes, but unfortunately here, all the institutes have gone out of stock........and if i go through the proces of sending a DD first,then the prospectus will come, then again i'll have to send the SIBM form..it will take lot of time ,,probably will cross last date of submission..............pls give me an alternate solution or tell me a place near noida from where i can get the form...........

I would like to know how exactly would the final allocation for the Pune and Bangalore campus be done? The preference sheet provided along withe the form asks us whether we intend to apply for Pune, Bangalore or both. But it does not ask us for our preference as in whether we would prefer Pune to Bangalore or vice-versa.

So how exactly would the final lists be prepared? Is there a underlying assumption that Pune is better than Bangalore and that after the entire process is completed, out of the people who applied for both the campuses, the top X people would be offered SIBM Pune and the next Y people would be offered SIBM Bangalore? Or will some other method be followed? Some clarity on this would be much appreciated

I m getting:

GK= 15
LR= 36-38
QA= 15-17
Eng= 9-11

Total = 75-81

10th = 78%
12th = 78%
BMS = 68%
1 yr work ex wid india's no. 1 BPO.

I m applying for SCMHRD and SIIB as they dont hv sectional cut offs.

But shall i go ahead to buy SIBM form with this score as they hv sectional cut offs??
