Does SIBM have an overall cut-off also?
I mean if i get just cut off marks in all, will I be eligible (ignoring other factors like work-ex etc as of now)?

I am Indrajoy. I am a passout of NIT Bhopal and currently work with CSC(1 yr exp). I have been academically good throughout. As you mentioned that SNAP will be having sectional cutoffs, and thats where I am a bit worried. I am not very good at GK, rather you can say pretty bad 😞 . Can you please tell me , whether you will be having a rigid cutoff or will it be relative, like percentile kinda...
Believe me, if I clear GK,,,, then you will see me at the GD/PI round for sure :)

i am working in INFY since last 2 years.In pune univ we get less %age as compared to other univs. will it affect us?

Hi,
Firstly relax and be confident of your abilities. The sectional cutoffs are meant to shortlist the students whom SIBM will call. If you have cleared all minimum cutoffs it means you have qualified yourself to be called for the interview. Last year we had called about 1100 students for the final GD/PI and this year we may increase this number as we will be increasing the number of seats on offer. Best of luck and concentrate on your SNAP preparations.

The decent overall score will be known only after the results have been declared and not before :). It is imperative that you answer maximum number of questions from ALL sections. As far as SCMHRD goes, I cannot comment on the process followed by my sister institution, you will have to refer to them. Best of luck.

As of now, the paper is over. So, till what extent shall the sectional scores matter? I mean, is a score of 15 in GK or 10 in verbal section (along with high over-all score) sufficient for a call from SIBM, Pune???
