Sir, can you kindly go through my details and throw some light on my chances for MBA through SIBM for the coming year ...

X - 85.46
XII - 81.83
B.E. in EXTC - 60.94 aggregate and passed out in 2006 from mumbai (had 2 KTs in the first semester but cleared them in the next semester itself and thereafter no KTs and distinction in the final semester degree exam)

i worked in a BPO " CONVERGYS " for a technical post from june 2006 till september 2007 - total 15 months ... but left the job as i had to devote sometime for exam preparation and make sure that i get through to a good college to complete an MBA this year ... so currently sitting at home and preparing for the exam

i was an active participant in extra currricular activities in school and engg college ... in various events ... and was also the editor of the engg college magazine for 2 years

Sir please please please tell me that if i get a decent score ... or say near about the cutoff marks for SIBM in SNAP ... how good do you reckon my chances are .

could you give an estimate as to the TOTAL COST (closest approximation) for doing MBA in SIBM for next 2 years ... including college fees, hostel fees and laptop and books .... considering the campus changes to LAVALE

hi,

i just wanted to know whether there is going to be sectional cut off based on percentile as in CAT or whether we have to attain some minimum marks in each section.

Also regarding campus at bangalore,since this will be the first time that u r going to start the course there ,i am concerned about the placements at the bangalore campus? Will placements at bangalore match up with pune?

Do you take the round off of marks of X,XII etc? I have 79.6% marks in XII can I fill round off of this i.e. 80% in form?

i think as of now cutoffs have not been pre announced....they wil depend on the percentiles aftr the exam..

Sir will there be different cut off for SIBM Bangalore as it is a new campus??? and could you give some details about the location , faculty and hostel facilities there as i am not able to find it on the SIBM Website

prestigious institute but sometimes it doesnt work that u think off but getting into this institute is my dream so i would like keep another option open for me to get into this

I have 8 years of experience in IT and I want to do MBA from SCIT. Is it a good option for such high experienced ppl ? Are there students in SCIT having this much experience ?

Hi Shyam,
I am sorry to say you will not be eligible to SIBM as our rules are fairly rigid on this point of passing graduation in one sitting. wish you the best of luck in your search.

I am a final year student from Delhi. Due to some problem I could not make payment for the the SNAP to be held on Dec 16. I had registered on 19th Nov. Is it possible for me to make payment now?

i think they will have a minimum marks for each section just like they have it in jmet

essentially u have to clear all these min marks criterion then they ll go for totl

they r nt expctd to be harsh regarding ind cut off

this is wat i think ...... correct me someone if i m wrong,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
