I was unanimously elected as the member of the Placement Committee(Training and Placement Office of my Graduation Institute) and was a part of the team for 2 years for the placement of 700-900 students per year.

I gave GRE and got 313, AWA 3. I plan to get into top b schools. I know this score is not upto the mark for top b schools. So want to know that should I give GRE again for better score or just go for entirely new exam,i.e, GMAT score as I have seen that many colleges still don't take GRE score.
Hi. I have 5 yrs of exp. in Corp HR ( in India, with MNCs ) with a PG Diploma in HR from a 2 tier college in India. I am interested in pursuing acads/teaching and therefore wanting to take up a PhD in HRM from universities such as York,NUS and likes . Is working with ngo required for a strong profile?
Reason is that my work does not leaves me with time for NGO's
I have worked as Mergers and acquisition associate for 13 months.
Currently working as Associate consultant in infrastructure and public policy domain. My job involves lots of inter state travelling and international travelling. We advise governments on infrastructure and policy making.
Can my work experience fill the gap for me lacking ngo work experience since my job is related to society?
Does for an Indians having non IT work experience have some edge?
I am planning to give GMAT in 2015 and start my MBA (Consulting) from 2016 or 2017.

Hi all.I am a 2013 engineering pass out.In march 2014, i started my apprenticeship in a leading MNC. If i get a job there after completion of my apprenticeship and i continue working there,will my apprenticeship be counted as a work experience ? Provided that apprenticeship is of one year and i get paid for that.

Hello. I am a B.com graduate, planning to take the GMAT exam next year, by which time I would have completed 15 months working in the Income Tax department for the Central Government of India. However, my scores in class X, XII and graduation have been, to put it bluntly, really poor. Could anyone shed some light over the GMAT score I need to obtain in order to make B-schools overlook my poor grades and relatively lesser work experience?
I am looking for a score of 720-plus, which is what I usually get in the mock tests. Which are the B-schools (non-American) that I should look into?

I have just given my GMAT and got a score of 750 (Q- 50, V-41).
I have been working for over 3 years now as a market intelligence executive at a leading consumer durables (electrical goods) firm in India, wherein I have taken care of the strategy of the entire company as well as sales intelligence and analysis. I have worked with the Top management over this period, and that has required me to constantly demonstrate leadership.
I have a B.Tech degree from YMCA university of Science and Technology (a haryana govt. undertaking) with a 7.0 CGPA.
I am very passionate about mountain cycling and have even travelled from Manali to Leh on a cycle (one of the toughest routes in the world). I have also managed groups of 100-150 professionals during offsite meetings, with a team of 3-4.
