Hi,

You will have to rephrase your query as I do not understand whether you are looking at MBA options or is that a general question?

Hi,

With the given information you can target schools like: NUS, Uni. of Hong Kong, AIM-Manila, SMU-Singapore, Rotterdam, Smurfit, SDA-Bocconi and Copenhagen. As the avg. GMAT range for the mentioned school(s) is between 580-700, you have fair chances of being admitted.

Subsequently, to convert your chances from application to admission you must submit strong application essays and demonstrate leadership skills, achievements at work place & other attributes during final interviews. Would also suggest you to focus on short/long term goals and post-MBA career.

Let me know in case of other queries you might have.

Hi Mukund,

You must apply in early cycles with strong application essays to strengthen your chances of scholarship. Applicants aren't satisfied until they achieve 800 GMAT score, so I would suggest you to focus on application essays/interviews as these are the key elements in b-school application process and start much ahead of time for comprehensive preparations.

Are you looking at any specific courses or countries in particular?

Hello Puys,

i am interested for MBA and am also open to colleges in india and abroad but i do not know where to begin. what i would like is, a bench mark, if someone could evaluate my academic profile and tell me which are the probable schools in india and abroad which i could consider as my safety schools, then i could start my preps with that in mind.

My acad stats:

10th-93%

12th-69.8%

Btech.-7.09

work ex.-1 year(as of july 13) as software developer in Capgemini India pvt.ltd.

p.s. this is my first post in PG so i am not very acquainted with the norms so if there is any mistake or if any more elaboration is needed kindly ask me..i will reply promptly. looking forward to someone helping me out in this.

my probs is i belongs to an average family with not much amount and lots of responsebilities..i know bcoz of my low accads i m unable to get scolorships for accads but instead of that i need it very badly..please guide me...

I would suggest you to concentrate upon your progessional achievements in the ISB application, in order to make an impact. You have not mentioned much on that front, but I would assume that in 3.5 years, you have got atleast 2-3 opportunities where your work really shone.

A lot of applicants to b-schools belong to 'average families'- ISB has a provision for a need based scholarship- go through teh details on their website:

Scholarship | Corporate | Sponsored | PGP | Indian School of Business (ISB)

You must score well on GMAT- something like a 750. But the score alone will not earn you a scholarship in case of an admit, it may marginally improve your chances to one. The other consideration for a scholarship is excellent work performance.
