Hi Ayush,

You have to carry following documents for the selection process:
1.) Your CAT Scorecard.
2.) X + XII mark sheet, X + XII passing certificate
3.) Graduation mark sheet,
4.) Graduation Degree/Diploma (if available).
5.) A document authenticating your work experience.
6.) Your call letter for FORE selection process.
7.) Some photographs.

i mean what was the CAT percentile of most of the people??

your cat score is definitely given some weightage but the weightage is not fixed, can vary every year. I dont know what weightage is being given to CAT scores this year as it is not revealed.
Everyone in current batch has a cat score of more than 90 pctile: from 91.1 to 99.2 pctile.

hi ya....u talked about fore call letter....but i hvnt received any letter via post...is it to be downloaded from the fore site or what?? my intvw is on 29th feb...please reply asap

u ought to have recieved a letter (infact FORE sends two letters). if u haven't, get in touch with the college authorities.

in any case, take a print out of the notification from the website.

i jst hav 82.3 percentile in CAT n i hav call for the IBM course..my acads r 75(btech), 10th- 87 n 12th- 85...is there ney chance of converting the call with such low percentile?

do your GD PI really well. then u would have a chance. prepare well. all the best.

can u plz tell us what is the cut off for FORE-IBM course and how should we prepare for the P.I..... I mean specific things that could be asked in P.I for FORE-IBM program relating to internatonal business curriculum etc etc......

i am in the general course. so i'm not aware of the batch profile of the IB course.

i'll find out and let u know at the earliest possible.

any seniiors hailing frm finance can they plz shed some light on the profile s they wer offered...this yr.
Like arbitrage consultant, risk assesment consultant, etc..
are the global firms like deloitte, jpmrgan,citigrup. a regular now onwards..
a candid reply wil be most appreciated.

The FORE website is not functioning. Can u tell when the results of GD/PI will be out?

I heard that we can take up dual specialization in FORE. Can u tell me if we can take up IB and Marketing/Finance as specialisations?

I will have around two years of work ex when i join MBA. Will that be enough to get a lateral placement in FORE? Pls throw some light on the lateral profiles for PGDM course.

first of all... i'm sorry for replying so late.. the results will be out by the first week of april.. at the max by second week.. yes.. there is dual specialization in FORE. in the second year, every student has to take 12 elective papers.. if u choose min of 5 papers from one stream then u specialize in that stream. if u have applied for the general course IB is not a specialization.. if u have 2+ years of work exp u can go for lateral placement.. in the batch which is passing out, the people who had had lateral placements were from operations/IT/marketing.. i'd update abt the lateral placements soon...

u mean to say.. my 20 months of work-ex wont b counted as lateral :|
please clarify as by the time of joining no way i would have completed two yrs

Now that the GD/PIs are over, cud we get some insight bout the placement figures/PROFILES offered this year to FOREans. Pls let us know about the lateral plcmnt stats as well.
This wud really help a lot of aspirants in setting their priorities right if and when the time comes.
