GDs at FORE for our batch were all related to current events.. like my group ws given a case study on SEZ...besides there were GDs on reality shows, racism etc..
i suggest u all to do ur home work on topics like 1.nano 2.SEZ 3. nuclear deal 4. growth vs inflation 5. bharat ratna 6.india china 7.FTAs 8.sensex-rise and fall/ is it a true index 9.environmental concerns 10.terrorism-bhutto issue
also note budget will be announced on 29th feb and dat will be the hottest topic of discussion in most of ur GDs and PIs...

For all the people appearing for the gd/pi, here's a detailed description of last year's happenings:
1. You will be made to sit in the virajam audi for minimum half an hour to one hr while your certificates n all are cross checked (just chill read the newspaper n stuff), 2. You will then be divided in groups n taken to classes for gds the topic will be given to u there only and it will be different for every group (around half an hour more), 3. After the gd, you will be asked to wait outside while your assesment takes place and then you will be called one by one for the interviews.
For people wanting to leave early coz of some commitments ... i think there shud be no problem putting you first in the line for interviews ... just try to catch a few students once u r at college ... u never know their input cud help u ... The average time will be around 3.5 hrs easily ... lbs is at 15 mins distance from FORE ... rest u calculate ....!!

For all guys having multiple calls on the same day:
Get ready this is ur first test as a manager ... u have to do the balancing act.
1. I have explained in one of my previous posts how FORE conducts its gd/pi and how long it is expected to take ... but for ppl having the 2nd or 3rd gd/pi batch ... be ready ... normally the process may be delayed by 1 hr or so due to backlog ... it happens everywhere,
2. Dont forfeit any call ... just call up the colleges they may be reluctant to change ur dates but they will change ur timings ... make sure to have a slack of around 2 hrs b/w 2 calls (may change depending on distance),
3. The process at FORE doesnt extend beyond 1 day, n LBSIM is 10 mins distance frm FORE, IMI will take 2 mins ... so dont worry just talk to the admissions dept n request them to change the timings ...
... n yes dont worry guys ... i know how i was worried last year wen i feared that i may have to forfiet some of my hard earned calls wen i haad to choose b/w colleges ... I sat for NMIMS, IMT n LBSIM on the same day ... so it is possible ... 😃 ...

ur reason is genuine..u can cm down to FORE and talk to the admission department about the same...do come wid xerox of ur datesheet to authenticate ur reason...

Yes FORE is near Hauz Kahs, it will take 15 mins at max from there ... And there are plenty of cheap accomodation in the Qutab area ... its the campus area guys, plus JNU is also nearby ... its gotta have accomodations to cater to so many students ... dont worry

talk to lbsim ... they may change ur venue ... or ... just call up FORE and talk to adm. dept. .... but it may be difficult if ur reason given is not genuine ...

the process is schedule to start next week. so u'll have to wait untill then for the feedback of this year.
as far as placements are concerned for the IBM, me and my friends have mentioned in our previous posts too. the companies who come on campus recruit from both batches. there are equal opportunities for both courses.
