hi reethu

doing a double mba would be a very important decision. i think u should first concentrate only on ur job. try and do well as much as u can in ur current work place. by doing another mba, yes ur employment prospects might improve but then dont make this investment all void. peoplegenerally do a second mba very much later in life. it is when they think that their business skills are very different from te ones being taught, is when they want to copeup to this difference in education and do a second mba.

tell me, where did u di ur mba from? and where do u plan to work? send me a personal message, that would help. thanks

Reethu:

Going for a second MBA is not unusual. A lot of people including those from excellent schools (the IIMs too) do this. However, you need to have a strong reason for taking this up.

A common reason is the need to have a strong international brand on the resume. Another might be a to change locations and move to another country where the first MBA may not command the same level of respect. You might come up with more.

The key is to have a convincing reason that ties together and sounds logical across your application components - your essays, your interview, your recos etc.

For you, it may be little too early to plan so much into the future. For now, focus on completing your current degree and work towards gaining some good experience.

Good luck.
