I got through Amity MBA general and was wondering if its worth it. I think it costs about 4.5 lakhs ( if not more) and then there is the main worry of placements. I heard Amity has about 700 odd students ( PGDM + MBA) and seriously doubt all of them will get on-campus placements. Although i have no other option, i want to know if Amity is worth the risk.. . Also, how does it compare to Wellingkar ?

same here... i also wanted to know whether the MBA ones are worth the hard earned money of our parents or not... i have given exam for MBA HR and am seriously considering whetehr its worth it or not

Hi Pbanny, glad to find at least one more chap with the same worry.
When was your gd/pi and are the results out? I am waiting for the call letter and then let's see what happens. Anyone else who got through Amity MBA? Kindly let us know your reasons for joining (or not) Amity.

i have been selected for MBa (ib).
it is not approved by AICTE, and
wanna know what difference it
makes to placement prospects.

i too have no other option.
dont knw what to do apart from waiting
from postal approval letter .

would like more amity selected students to

me too have been selected for amity mba ib., i have some queries and i will be highly obliged if u will respond to them.

1. What is the importance of AICTE approval to an MBA Course regarding placements and other concerns to a student?

2. What is the career scope of International Business MBA?

3. What are the areas/subjects to focus on in international business?

5. Considering that there are 300 seats in Mba (ib) and 120 seats in PGDBM(aicte approved), can one expect good placements among 420 students at amity?

6. Beleiving my session will start around june, what early preparations should i do? like expertise in MS powerpoint, or some books if u may suggest....

7. which banks is offering student loan for amity?

ok it may sound too elementary, i think i have committed many errors of ignorance. and i am like a dhoodh ka jala , and i will drink chajh phoonk phoonk ke.

well go 4 amity for pgdm only, i had it this option last year itself (pgdm,MBAIB) but thought why nt tryCAT this yr and landed in a place surely not better than amity's PGDM. BTW plz search amity's thread ull find a lot of info. To my knowledge even amity's PGDM doesn't have 100% placement.Though who so ever is placed is placed well. as far as MBA(IB) is concerned i wud say "no no".

Now PGDM is out of scene. Which course is the best in Amity now?? Can any Amitiam throw light on this? Between BIMTECH's PGDM (AICTE approved) and Amity's MBA, which one is betterin terms of placements.

MBA (general) is the best of a average bunch if you ask me , I don't think the other courses have 100% placement and are not properly recognized , even I got through MBA through the MAT score but having doubts myself.

mba general is gud option if u dont have any other option
i didnt join bcoz i m placed in infosys
so wil work for 2 yrs and then join it

guys guyss,.,.,. temme wt u think,.,.,.please,.,.,i have 2 colleges in hand,.,.,.no.1 amity mba gen(which gives mba degree, gr8 infrastructure,descent faculty,just okay types average package 3- 3.5 avg, gr8 exposure) and the 2nd is ICFAI gurgaon(gives PGPM certificate and mba degree from distance learning of ICFAI Dehradoon, poor infrastructure, awesome faculty, just above average packages 3.5-4avg).,,,.,.wat to do???and reasons for ur views pleassssssseeee,.,.,.HELPHELP HELPP!!

hey guys dnt join,,,,,,,,regardless of the quaity of the college the sheer volume of students makes it impossible for placements to be good. and amity dsnt offer much in quality either
