I felt Quant had all the trick questions this time, solve karne ka tareeka nahi pata to baithe raho bas :splat:dragged it to the last minute.
Sad accuracy in sec 2, RCs were nightmare 
attempted only 6 and all 6 wrong is quite possible. LR was on tougher side too. 60+ in tough section 2 still a dream.

i was giving aimcat 1316 at home...........it was working fine but suddenly the some error cam of service not available and was not able to give the exam...........:((

Read as much as you can through online sites like aldaily.com,magportal.com,economist.com
analyse the topics that you are not good at and work on their basics..

This AIMCAT was tricky, it was more abt selection of solvable questions ...Having said that , i think i was miserable in selection.... :banghead:

A bit tougher AIMCAT than previous one ( AIMCAT 1317 ). VA seemed to be particularly very difficult to me.
Sec 1 : 13 c 3 w , score : 36
Sec 2 : 14 c 8 w 
score : 34
Again need to increase my speed to increase my attempts in sec 1 and definitely need to work on my accuracy. Going to work on it, AIMCAT 1315 is the next stop. 
Verbal was difficult as compared to pr previos aimcat

I myself screwed quant last year so ain't the one to suggest the perfect approach. dunno about the best material but i followed TIME material and mock tests only last year and doing the same this year too. Mighty threads with mightier and the mightiest problems are here on PG, follow them. I haven't solved any book, maybe will try Arun Sharma. make your basics strong and solve solve solve

Guys any suggestion on how to improve QA??? This is my first AIMCAT... i did some mild preparations... that too only on QA... but still found it difficult while taking the test...

Yes, I think it should. 90-95 should fetch 99.
When I say my 83 will fetch 95%ile, I think that's the worst it can get.
Of course, I can be wrong and get a 90%ile or a 99%ile.
But what we are saying is most likely imo.

Rc's were certainly tougher, the presence of 2 philosophical type RC's meant I almost ran out of time in sec 2. But finally sec 2 score is crossing 60. Even QA had a few tough ones this time.
Overall I felt it was closer to CAT than the previous one.

QA - 21A 18C = 51.
VA - 25A 17C = 43.
OA - 46A 35C = 94.
Demotivating accuracy in section 2.
8 wrong questions mean 8 wrong VA/RC questions (LR toh sahi hoti hai). Working on it.
AIMCAT 1318 --> 1st aimcat of my life --> Scored a mere 31
AIMCAT 1317 --> inspite of such an easy mock score just 51
AIMCAT 1316 --> Scored progressed to 61.
Quanta/DI part had trolled over my score while Verbal/LR has improved.
Needs to put extra efforts in DI/Quant as revision is not there.
Also wasting time on questions and not getting answer for them is a pain :(
Verbal/LR needs to improved on same scale. SC part I will try to cover because till now either I am leaving it or getting the negative points.
Hope to see score rise to 80's & further in next AIMCAT's , it will be more of a journey to reach the max points now. Till then , this is war.
