passcode for every student is different..but if u have a genuine reason maybe the faculty will consider n give u the passcode..

pathetic accuracy..i've been struggling, so far as attempts are concerned. And, now my accuracy has also taken a plunge..Can someone suggest me how to do well in QUANT-DI(approach). And, how do i go about preparing for this section in next 40 days?

passcode for every student is different..but in case u have a genuine reason the faculty will consider n let u know
Gave it in the morning today. From what I felt, paper was relatively easy. But I have no idea why I didnt get a high score. I surely could have performed better than that.
Section1 - 17 correct, 6 wrong = 45
6 wrongs is a shocker!! If accuracy would have been slightly better than I would have got much more. I think there was a LR set also there. Overall I would rate it easy to moderate. Some questions were really easy.
Section2 - 14 correct, 7 wrong = 35
Once again i have no idea what I was doing here.... Attempted only 21. Left 9 questions. Would be waiting for analysis to see where I wasted time. Another reason was that there was very little grammar. So wasnt able to make up time by doing those. Had to leave one complete RC and one complete LR set. RCs were different this time. 3 RCs (4+4+5), so less scope for grammar.
Overall - 31 correct, 13 wrong = 80
Accuracy and speed both played the spoilsport this time. This is only the first day, so would be waiting to see how other ppl find it...

however, paper was nice, a lot of DI is always appreciated (atleast by me )(15QA and 15 DI+DS qs). started with the very first DI set and then i dont know what happened to me i started solving Quants, wanted to check myself as i always get away by solving DI in section 1. i guess mocks are meant to check yourself, took this one in this way and went all out on 15 qa. solved all with 2 educated guesses and another two DI sets , one of them was similar to the nov 14 afternoon slot cat 2010 set.
total attempts-26 (satisfactory)
Section 2-
moderate to difficult. it was all about RCs(13qs) , LR(8qs), sentence correction(5qs). one of the rc was easy , other two were moderate to difficult and both the lr set were sitters(24 free marks) and as for grammar qs i just do them..confident about 21 qs pertaining to lr and rcs.
total attempts-30.
will update this post if and when i get to know my marks.
It was an easy paper, had a horrible accuracy in quant. guess people will easily score above 120

i dont study as i already mentioned i had started prep long long back, i can suggest you the material...
1. TIME material for easy topics (ERPV, PPL, SICI, Avg. mixture, allegation, etc etc algebra topics mainly...) -- these can be solved easily by even 10th class student but would suggest you to go through the same again. because time saved in these topics can be huge--because these are must attempt questions, so time saved in the same can be used in better topics like numebrs geomtry and counting....
2. TG books all three....
3. CAT Papers specially 99-03
4. Mocks specially QA of AIMCAT 2008-10. google them you might get them, LR - CL mocks 2009 and AIMCATs 2007-09
5. Sectional test by any insti. TIME IMS CL anyone!!!!
