gd topics could range from womens rights at work place to why the sun is yellow.. nothing too fancy though. the topics are usually general awareness/knowledge oriented and anyone with decent gk will easily get thru. the emphasis is on letting everyone sharing their opinion. its not important who starts the gd.. it is important how the participants manage time and improve the quality of discussion. importantly, stay calm and do not shout out your opinions or be very headstrong and refuse to accept another viewpoint. they absolutely hate that. its a sure ticket back home.

PI are like any other bschool interviews. why mba, why aim, ur previous experience, nothing spectacular to be worried about. most interviewers are very chilled out abt the interview and will be quite accomodating. however stay professional and warm, do not get overtly friendly.

hi pple...

im new to this thread.. would like to know about the placement scenarios in aim..
most of my research of reading threads shows that placement is completely dependent on the network and alumini.. I am a mech engg with 2 yrs in teaching and 2 years in project mgmnt... one year in manufacturing... plannning to gv gmat dis nov, or aimat.. either or both.. very keen on making it to aim.. but since 16 lacs investment is involved it would be gr8 if someone from aim would guide how guys end up getting jobs afta completion of their studies..
