i m new to Pg , but i too am intrested in AIM for MBA , but wud be targetting the 2007 batch , soo wud like to ask u a few questins ,
1) what are ur views abt the college , coz as per my research the response has been mixed.
2) what was ur experience of the AIMAT , if u got selcted thru test , or if thru GMAT then kindly tell abt ur profile .
3)what are the job oppurtunites, i have heard they are good , but no post or site anywhere on the net has been specific , everyone says , u shud be able to market urself , arey will there be an oppurtunity to market .

i am a techie and so wud go for a general MBA with special.. in IT, so what do u think will be the prospects.

i would request the CO-ordinator/Administrator , to kindly post some info regarding AIM , coz i have seen many people who have posted questions regarding this coll , but sadly havent got any response , coz very few people know

Hello All,
Let me introduce myself first as this is my first post, I'm a s/w engr. with 2.7yrs of exp till date & with one of the IT firms in India.. would like to know about doing MBAs abroad.

Me too interested in knowing the replies to those questions about AIM.. apart from that, I've browsed thru its site cudnt find any placements statistics and there are only 2 electives in IT ..!! Friends, I've few questoins to add:

  1. I've learnt that AIM is gud at placing students into FIN jobs like investment banking etc.. but where wud an IT guy stand chance?
  2. One very specific question, I'm into ERP implementations as a technical consultant.. any univs which have any such specific reqmnts? I would like to get either into consulting or BDM kinda roles? Any suggestions which univs would be helpful for this?
  3. Top-5 Asian Univs which have gud IT placements? How do you rate ISB on par with them & their placements statistics abroad??
