Any views on the recently aired Hritik Roshan ad for Coke? :)
The jingle is superb. But i feel the ad execution could have been a lot better. I have never been a very big fan of Hreetheek...[ mujhe aapse milna hai...by gawd that was a crappy ad..]. Still...the weird expressions that Hrithik gives when opening the coke bottle are stoopid. Also the youngsters could have acted a little better. Cheesy lines...people whispering 'yeh kaun hai yaar' when they show hrithik on screen, the guy saying 'sab band hai yaar' to hrithik, as if hrithik us gully ka municipality worker hai.
They tried to cash in on a very nice jingle, and ended up making a run-of-the-mill commercial. I personally believe its going to be remembered as 'the ad that could have been..'.

yeah the jingle for the coke ad is pretty catchy but the acting and the concept is pathetic.....:argue:
well there are many ads i hate but the few i can remind of are
1. PEPSI ------ SRK, RANBIR K, Deepika padu, .....shit ad.... youngstaan ...concept ... what is that ..???
2. HeroHOnda HUNK..... i am speechless (i like the bike ) but this ad will certainly have bad effect on sales ......... a guys converts in bull and scares other bulls.
3. VISA ; heart, mind body souls and few singing Assholes.
4. BAJAJ PLATINA ; Jalak dikhla ja song being played ( i hate himesh).
5. Fair and Lovely mens cream : mard hokar ladkiyon wali cream (chup chup k)
ABOVE ALL i hate those 15 mins telebrand ads of AB-KING pro , and crunch machine and blah blah .......
sometime i wonder who are those MBAs to pass/select these ads.
i mean the guys at Herohonda must have seen once b4 selecting that hunk ad. ........... no wonder HH is struggling in premium segment.

Child Sleeping Beautifuly...
Mother Comes up by the bed of the child and wakes him up in the middle of the night,takes him upto the washbasin and washes her face.....and u wonder why is this lovely looking mom doing this devlish act...
and the child asks mom why od i have to get up in the middle of the night and wash my face...???????:neutral::neutral:
GUess wat the mom says,beta u have to study hard in night so that u excel in your studies.
and on the table is a can of bounvita and a glass ful of milk in which goes the bournvita...and the child asks mom why this bournvita and the mother answers like a rhyme..tann ki shakti,mann ki shati...,blah blah...
in the end the end she says study hard so that everyone should say WOH DEKHo..
and the obedient child completes the sentence....WOH DEKHO RAVI KI MAA JA RAHEE HAI.....:badword:

Lets we all nominate top 6-7 worst adds based on votes from total worst adds... and than lets choose those top 6-7 adds from rest and conduct next rounds of voting to find out Award winning add for Worst Ad :D

This morning near a railway station I saw this ad of some underwear and vest...Amul maybe :eh:
It was disgusting..a monkey wearing those undergarments and a decent looking woman making a weird pose looking seduced by it :yuck:

I completely agree with you.
Sprite definitely won some brainy points out of this ad.... also it's not mocking it just for the sake of mocking.
It goes perfectly with the tag line "Seedi Baat, No Bakwas".
Also one more noteworthy thing in The new youngistan ad :
They themselves made a mockery of their first ad (ppl asking what crap this youngistan is all about and then ranbeer goes all out to explain it...)
Good the admakers are sensible to atleast cognize that ppl didnot understand the ad....
what with pepsi nw a days?? first the youngistan ad and nw a sequel to that...needless to say the sequel is bad if not pathetic...the pepsi people should take some inspiration from the maker of sprite ads...the new ad slogan of sprite seedi baat no bakwaas is awesome

Usually we advertise for a product
1. By marketing the product (read saying good about the price, quality etc., of the product)
2. By saying that something is free with the product.
But a recent ad by cadbury 'Bytes' defies both the above points and advertises the product which is free with it .
The ad starts with ppl listening to songs on mobile and ends with a voice over saying all these are free with a pack of "bytes". (Only in the last frame of this ad would you see the product) ... I dont know how the company accepted this ad.

So it's just a sane idea (inzanelabs define well what sanity is... ) to take a swing and having a revere chat... TV: Well, I have lost touch with idiot box, for 4 years.. even though got to watch some of the Ads meanwhile, but coudn't find a reason if i don't like them, as i said i am not watching these days..
Internet: Fake job Ads.. "IT MNCs are on hiring spree, what are you waiting for, send your resume asap...!! " what a holy crap! As soon as you start smiling, you see your bulk folder starts bubbling up with spams spams spams..! Get rid of it..! Beware!
Magazines: Some low profile colleges, with their Ads, trying to seek our attention.. "200 % Placements, Excellent Lab Facilities, Tie ups with MNCs and World class Universities, Foreign Guest Lectures... creep..!"
The list of categories is endless i guess... Though you see Ads on the streets and Main Roads... The most worst kind of Ad attracting material what I see is, what municipality guys clearly mention as.. "STICK NO BILLS".. "NO PARKING"... "PLEASE DON'T ATTEND YOUR NATURAL CALLS".. .. 😁 😁 😁
