What about the Aditi Govatrikar's Ad about some Pataka 505 Chai.......

The ad in which guy in a village with tractors near him, asks an old man with turban "Is cement mein ky hai", and old man replies "Is cement mein jaan hai beta".

The ad in which a truck driver goes to a petrol bunk and asks for lubricant. The attendant asks him whether he wants turbo.
The driver asks him "Turbo mein hai kya".

Regular Aaj Tak favourite : MDH masala in which the old man shows how healthy he is by standing at one place moving his hands pretending to be jogging. Cracks me up everytime.
I hope even newspaper ads are allowed : Mulayam and Amar Singh(UP's happy couple) touting their non-achievements. For god's sake, they are touting winning some local level achievements as if they are great achievements, wasting UP government money(unless it is Anil Ambani who has donated that money).

these train-side ad putters seem to have a solution for all.
and if your journey spans abt 24hrs..well..you never know, you might be so psyched out at the end..that you might be tempted enough to try it..'ek baar'

1. the hutch dog ad
2.pepsi ad with bigB and arshad warsi
3.Airtel ad the B&W; ad with the Rahman music in the background
4.Sumo Victa ad
Nothing else comes to mind!
while that ad is not popular here that may not necessarily make it a failure...
i come to this conclusion after reading the below statement from another website discussion
The ad is not classy but if we seriously analyse the target audience of the product then it is surely a brilliant ad. Please consider the ad is not for classes but for the people who are uneducated and illiterate but have a desire to copy the rich and classy. It will not be wrong if I say the advertisiment is rightly conveyed to its target audience.
Ok now i do not watch telly a lot but some time back i chanced to see this ad..I think it is of britania 50-50...Now in this a govinda look alike is dancing ( ashooting is going on) and in the between he repaeatedly goes to the audience n asks 4 votes--thru that they want to say 50-50 thing..Logical but total crappy presentation...

Hit quite a vein in my heart..Maan if u hav travelled in western UP or MP n Delhi the ads of hakim usmani n Gupt rog vishesyag really psyche u out...dhatu rogi shanivar ko mile..And those khoi mardana takat ads....sheeshh....Though i hav highly enjoyed situations when small kids inquire the meaning of the same frm their parents--

since ive come to the conclusion that all ads on tv are crap...i do intend to add exceptions to that....today i saw that IBM ad thrice the one in the Paris office...i thought it was funny!
